Izuku had dreams, but this time they were good. His mind flooded with those who had come into his life. And he realized that they weren't all that bad. Aizawa, Present Mic, and all the people in 1A who tried to befriend him.
And for the first time in a long time, his lips stretched into a real smile. Soft, pushing up his cheeks slightly, mouth closed. A small smile, but genuine.
He opened his eyes slowly, and he sat up, leaning back into the pillow. Calm, peaceful, and a cat? He looked down at the small kitten curled into his side. He could hold the thing in one hand. He stroked it's fur, and the cat got up and settled into his lap instead, warm under Izuku's hand.
Shota and Hizashi settled next to each other on the small couch in the room. Hizashi was asleep in Shota's lap, and Shota was asleep, his head leaning back over the top of the couch, his phone hanging limply in his hand. Eri was with Shinso, who's the new babysitter apparently.
Izuku's small smile was no longer there, but his face was relaxed. For once he felt safe, maybe even cared for. Even if this was all just an act of sympathy from the two heroes. As his eyes drifted off into another round of the much needed sleep.
Sorry the chapter's kinda short. The next one will be the final chapter for this version, and then I'll begin the rewrite. I'm going to try and make most of the rewrite chapters longer, and those will start soon since I finish my exams tomorrow. Thank you for all the support and for 14k on this story. Omg, wtf thank you for real.
