"So what's the plan?" Tsu questioned.

"I'm going to assume your quirk is more suited for work near water, which automatically puts us at a disadvantage. But not too much considering I don't have a quirk. Bakugo's explosions is something I can deal with, and our best odds would be on me stalling Bakugo slash putting him out of commission with the capture tape while you deal with Iida."

"Wow. Uhh okay sounds good."

"As far as the plan for you and Iida, his speed will be a problem. I would recommend trying to push him to the absolute limit, forcing him to use a move that puts the engines in his legs out of use long enough for you to get the bomb. Sound good?"

"Yep." Tsu was a little shocked, as she didn't expect such a thorough plan from the boy she knew close to nothing about. But he seemed nice enough, just a little... antisocial.

Izuku had started tying his hair back. It wasn't super long, but long enough to tie in a similar style that his mother wore when he was a kid. Half tied back in a messy bun. He smiled ever so slightly at the pleasant memory. It faded soon, but not before Tsu noticed.

The booming voice of all might rang through. "THE HERO TEAM MAY NOW ENTER!"

"Ready? Remember, 4th window."

"Yes."

And with that, Izuku and Tsu parted ways.

Izuku could move silently, a skill he'd learned from the ripe age of 5. But Katsuki was waiting.

And don't be mistaken, Bakugo wanted to kill him the moment he'd realized Deku was back. But he waited. Why? Not even Katsuki himself knows for sure.

(If the video worked, start the music here/restart it.)
"How've you been, Kacchan?"

"DEKU!" He lunged at him, sending an explosion towards the Izuku, who dodged with relative ease.

"Already lost your cool? Rule number one of fighting Katsuki. Never lose your cool. Look alive dumbass!" Smiled Izuku, promptly delivering a kick to Bakugo's face. Followed by a punch to his gut. Bakugo doubled over a minute but recovered fairly quickly.

But he was already too late.

Izuku was behind him already. Swiftly landing another kick to his back, grabbing his head and smashing his face into the concrete. Everyone winced a little. 'That had to hurt.' They thought collectively.

When Bakugo recovered he was left tied in capture tape, blood dripping from his nose. His broken nose.
"IM GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU DEKU!"

"Ah yes, empty threats, what's that saying? Old habits die hard. In your case, I guess they never die at all." Izuku said putting his earbuds in.
He walked out of the room, raising a hand to flip off Bakugo.

When he arrived, Tsu had already handled it though. Prominent by the newest announcement. "THE HERO TEAM HAS BEEN DEEMED THE VICTOR!"

They all exited the building calmly. Minus Bakugo. Who had to be dragged out by Aizawa.

Izuku still had his earbuds in, music blasting so loud you could hear it from the speakers. Not loud enough to decipher what he was listening to though, since no one wanted to get up in Izuku's face.

"Hi granny."

"Hi dear! It's been a while. Have you been eating right?"

"Uhhhh, yes?"

"We'll deal with that later. How's work been?"

"Good. I like the bakery." He smiled gently.

"What else have you been up to?"

"I forgot to tell you, I was uhhh accepted into UA granny."

"Congratulations dear! Are you ready for our weekly lunch?"

"Yeah, let's go."

Granny Sen could still recall the first time she'd met Izuku vividly. (Izuku is 15 rn btw.)

A tired boy had wandered in. Extremely skinny, but more than that he was submissive. He had only bought Cat food and some gauze. He'd walked to the counter, setting down the items. At the time he avoided her eyes, but when they finally made eye contact his eyes were sad. As if he longed for something that he'd given up on a long time ago.
Granny Sen had tried getting him to talk, but it took patience. He was like a skittish cat, get to close and it runs away. However, the moment he responded rung clear in her mind. It was after he started taking the baked goods he offered her. Just two simple words. "Thank you."
She felt small tears build behind her eyes. "You're welcome dear." She smiled.

She smiled again at the memory.

"What is it granny?"

"Oh nothing dear. Just a fond memory." She replied, looking up at the boy. "Oh! We're here already!"

Meanwhile......

"Hey Shoto, look. I think that's Midoryia."

"I think it is."

"He's like you." She chuckled.

He looked at her puzzled.

"Only smiles sometimes, not very social. In fact, that's the first time I've ever seen him smile. Like a skittish cat."

"I am not like a cat."
