Before anyone had noticed he left Izuku was outside the gates of UA, starting down the pavement.

Izuku had snatched a cloth from the bathroom and tied it around his arm. Stopping the blood and applying pressure to the wound.

He pulled his zip-up hoodie back on, grabbing a box of cigarettes out of one pocket. He brought it to his lips, and lit it with his lighter.

He clicked shuffle on his playlist, blasting the music at full volume. Leaving him pretty oblivious to the fact he was being followed.

But soon enough, he sensed the presence. Izuku had a knack for it, made it easier if it felt like they had malicious intent.

He acted like he was changing the song, but really he was turning it down so he could hear.

But they caught on.

"You interest me, Izuku Midoryia." The person's voice whispered into his ear.

He didn't respond.

"Good, you know when to shut up." He said slightly louder this time, as he walked them to a deserted alleyway. He placed a hand around the boy's neck, cutting off the oxygen, one finger lazily off.

"I'll tell you this short and simple. Your different than the rest of the people in that class. And when the time comes, I'll strike up an interest again, in you. Because you're useless, but you made yourself not useless. I'm rather intrigued, to say the least. When the time comes, Axis."

And with that he left Izuku alone, disappearing into a purple gas.

Izuku drew in air desperately, before pulling his hood on to hide the hand shaped bruise at his neck and the blood budding from where his nails dug into Izuku's skin. (Also this ain't anything like that, It doesn't look like anything uhhh 😏😏😏 it looks painful and bloodied like an injury. Just clearing that up for the dirty minded wattpad readers, cause I know you're out there.)

Izuku cleaned the blood off and sighed in annoyance.
"This is so fucking annoying." He seethed, staring at the obvious injury. "Couldn't he have stabbed me or something? Then I could do stitches and be done with it. But no, he has to make my life difficult. Mediocre makeup skills and ice it is."

It had been about a week since he had gotten the injury. It had faded a lot but it was a deep bruise that looked kind of decayed? He tried his best with a little concealer and hoped no one noticed or cared enough to ask.

He put in a request for a long sleeved gym uniform. So the scars he had shouldn't be a problem.

He wasn't surprised when his acceptance letter came in the mail. After all, Nezu said he'd get in whether he tried or not during the entrance exam.

It was just All Might talking about his accomplishments during the exam and that he made it until some unexpected footage showed up. It was the girl, that one he met. She wanted to offer some of her points to him, as a token of gratitude. But Izuku could not figure out what the gratitude was for. He didn't do anything special did he? He concluded it a mystery, though it did linger in the back of his mind.

Izuku had tugged his uniform high enough so that it didn't look suspicious, but left it low enough that it didn't look like he was trying to hide something. Which he was, but the point of hiding something is that no one knows you are. He covered the rest with concealer and called it a day.

The class glanced at him -not so inconspicuously- as the green haired boy walked into the classroom. He had dark bags under his eyes that left him looking like hadn't had a full night of sleep in months. He wore his uniform neatly, with the tie pulled into a perfect knot. He looked like the average student at first glance, maybe a little antisocial, but average. However once you knew that he scored the highest on the written exam, and second on the practical exam? No one could help but be curious. (I wasn't sure what to call the "robot exam" so I just called it practical idk.)

He took a seat in the back next to the window and put his headphones in. Clearly not wishing to hold a conversation with anyone.

And that, is when the yellow cocoon became a beautiful sleep deprived moth. Teacher? Moth? Moth man? This segment was brought to you by Denki Kaminari.
