Link materialised on the shrine lying down, blood spattering everywhere. His consciousness was fading, him trying to crawl back to stand up. His eye swivelled around, Link's wounds scaring the nearby travellers, from his crimson socket, burns and vermillion head. All his scars throbbed with unimaginable pain, every other part of his body corroding in severe weariness. He stood up in a hunched and crooked position. His eye couldn't accustom to the gleaming sun, his sight losing to sable. He crawled at a tripping gait towards the entrance of Gerudo Town. The guards over there had already spears pointed at him. His warning couldn't be told if his pace could tell him anything. He tried to barge through them with the vigour left in him, them already thrusting into the Link's back encrusted with the Yiga symbol, him yelping in more pain, but kept advancing. The soldiers chasing screamed, "Get the Yiga bitch!" assuming Link was a Yiga with the symbol. They caught up to him effortlessly and attempted to plunge their spears into him. He moved his left arm to defend himself, his shoulder and his forearm getting impaled with more pourings of scarlet leaking out. The Gerudo vai were shocked at the gory disfigured body. He howled in the extra pain he's received. However he continued, treading on the staircase to Riju's palace. The sentries that defended the chief in front of him screeched, "Halt Yiga!" More spears aimed for him. However, he went sideways through the sharp tips, having to endure even more pain, cuts ripping through his skin. His energy burned out and he tripped to fall, hitting the ground. He grunted in pain, trying to stare what was I front of him.

Blurry images that were in front of him, of Zelda, having her heavy backpack slung over her shoulder, with Buliara, next to her was Riju, with a backpack he recognised as his own, her sword, shield and armour still worn, except their heirloom of the Thunder Helm, that rested in display. They had shocked faces mouth agape and aghast. The guards quickly caught up and lifted the evanescing Link. The 4 asked the chieftain, "Shall we dispose of this Yiga intruder, Lady Riju?" but the dismayed face of Zelda shouted, "Link! Your eye! Don't hurt him, he's my escort!" The Gerudo lessened they're grip but still turned their face, prying for an answer, the teenager responding, "Do as the Queen says. He's a friend" the troopers immediately protested, "Bu-" Riju's gaze stared them for them to obey, "Keep him standing. I don't think he has much time," Link lolled his head in desperation, his locks of hair falling in his eye and empty socket and croaked in a hoarse voice, "Gerudo Town is in danger. You need to evacuate everyone now, please. Take out the safety protocol now," with the wheeze of his final words his eye lost to blackness. "LIN-" Zelda was interrupted by a sound through the air, an explosion leading to screams of multiple women. Riju roared her orders to the troopers, "Evacuate and alarm the rest of the army! Buliara take Link and get as many civilians to safety! I'll guard Zelda!" The warrior women handed Link to Buliara who slung him around as if a backpack holding his two hands around her neck with one hand and another having a drawn claymore. The soldiers ran to the sides of the palace, towards the protectors of the town in the training courtyards. The 4 carried out the message for the execution of the decamping the town. Which quickly sprawled over the place to shield their town. Buliara ran with Link flailing behind him, following behind were Riju and Zelda. They ran out in the fluorescent sun, the scene unfurling of Yiga archers lined on the walls, bows ready with another score of bomb arrows, flames burning into the buildings and upon the shattered pane glass rose billowing smoke. Gerudo guards were bringing denizens with soot coated on their face, others shrieking with burnt faces. The abandoned or unseen people lost under rubble, flames trailing towards them. However, Yiga arrived for them, clawing for the tormented ladies, though not for their salvage. Multiple calls of direful help erupted, and before the desert-dwelling women came more reinforcements of Yiga clashed. The 4 ran along the path trying to bear through Gerudo combatants dropping intestines slopping out, with a bed of blood. The Yiga were almost unstoppable their onslaught weren't quivering in any way. The entrance was anigh but ruby glints formed in front of them, from it coalesced a blademaster, his gravel voice mocking, "Your Hero is doomed and along with it is Hyrule," his cackle transitioning into a pounce his Windcleaver propelling in towards Buliara, who barely parried the weapon with her claymore and counter slashed with a jab towards the man's throat which impaled him, staining her weapon before the man crumbled to the ground. "LET'S GO RIJU!" They went through the entrance and continued towards a Gerudo general, who had a line in front of her, of may of the injured and safe, who were being lead down a trapdoor. Zelda who was following suit her heels sinking in the golden sand. Tears rolled down her cheeks as another explosion boomed behind her. Buliara glanced behind her, Link's pale face leaning with eyes closed, and behind him Yiga aimed arrows. She snarled. She had to siege the town. The lady knew a sorceress in town, Meatesi who had power of sand and also enchanted Riju's blade. They reached the long queue, Buliara giving Link to nearby Gerudo army members, Riju and Zelda also lining up. Buliara consulted with Riju, "We have to barricade the town. The most efficient way to cut off the town right now is Meatesi," she nodded, and Byliara ran, surveying the myriads of people. Then she came across a lady in a red hooded robe with a wrapping of cardinal cloth around her chest and a long skirt. Her hood draped over her carmine plait, her virescent eyes glowing with fear, at the images occurring at her town. She turned to stare at Buliara who had tugged at her shoulder previously. "You have to drown the town. We're in danger if they will follow us into our underground structure," with Meatesi nodding, and started running in front of the structure of Gerudo Town. "Sa'ahkum ealayk fi alramali! Ramal algharq!"

Inside Gerudo town, the corners flowed with sand, slowly spreading and filling the town as if a tub is filled with water. The square was also rising with a mountain of aureate powder. The Yiga were soon feet-deep in sand as the surface, of the whole town, soon knee-deep... hip-deep... chest-deep and soon their mouth was filled in the desert powder. The halls, entrances and rooms were completely occupied in sand, and all the Yiga were suffocated, the flames were out.

Meatesi dashed back, her reaching the line and Buliara replied, "Thank the goddesses our survivors are all out here with us," but Meatesi with eyes swelling with glistening tears, yet her words that uttered were stone, "Yet many have been lost,"

They all had been transported into the excavated layout of Gerudo Town. The last Gerudo captain, went down half before closing the trapdoor of sandstone. It was made of the topaz desert stone that was in the Wasteland region. It was same with the accommodations and corridors, though it had a lack of good lighting, the only actual incandescence being the torches that flames crackled gently. Some Gerudo were in beds tended by medics, or some were snacking on food. They rested, and people shed tears for the ones who we're missing some even assuming their close ones were dead, them lost in pain. Buliara laid Link and Gerudo surgeons came to him with all the paramount tools, their faces with widening eyes. Link's blood still trickled, his heartbeats low and stifled. Zelda glanced at Buliara then quickly to the impassive yet with a streak of sorrow. "I don't want to lose him..."

As hard as it is to pronounce the spell Meatesi had said is actually Arabic. I researched that Gerudo were based on Arabs. So I translated the words, I shall seal you in the sand! Sand of drowning! Back from the hiatus feels good? Don't know, but shout out to Cal1751, 1Kittydragon, UnitedNationsAllies2; and 11starfish for following me, whose story you should check out. Thanks! I published this for the sake of publishing it. However, I won't update after this, so if you want an update about it you should see the news book I have. See ya!
