Of course, suot ko ang aking puting converse shoes and my favorite black bonnie together with my Bentley shades. Bagay na bagay para sa mainit na panahon.
"Kuya, it doesn't make sense. Why?" Hanggang ngayon ay naguguluhan pa rin ako sa takbo ng kasaysayan. "How did it happened? Why is the kingdom fall?" Ardamya is what were my ancestors came from no- we came from.
"It wasn't just a crown that took from her as well as the land, sis. The history of man did not tell the world how. But, ours did." Seryosong sinabi ni Adam sa'kin. "Her reign stopped because she choose to." Muling nagpatuloy ito sa paglalakad.
Litong tiningnan ko lang ito. "Our reign stopped because of her foolishness! If it wasn't her stupidity. We shouldn't be hiding now!" Inis kong bulalas dito. Of course, I am referring to former Queen Aciel, the eldest daughter of King Lycan and Varyn's niece. Hindi klaro sa aklat ng kasaysayan na nababasa ko kung papaanong nawala ang Kaharian ng Ardamya. Posibleng itinago talaga ito. Tanging nababasa ko lang ay ang kung papaano nagsisimula ang aming uri. Hindi kaya nasa mga Varyn's ang ilang aklat ng kasaysayan?
"Luna. Masyado ka pang bata para maintindihan ito. She just did what's the best for us," Adam said.
"Whatever. Her selfishness lead us down." Kung sana pinangalagaan niya ng maayos ang kanyang trono. Edi sana hindi kami patago-tago ngayon. "Humans are just... stupid and weak. They have no rights to rule a kingdom or a country. We are!" I added.
Napabuntong-hininga ito at hinarap niya ako.
"Remember what I told? Whatever it takes. No matter how hard it is," makahulugang sinabi ni Kuya Adam sa'kin na ikinatikom nalang ng bibig ko. Hinawakan niya ang ulo ko at bahagyang ginugulo ang aking buhok. "And besides, you can't rule a kingdom with those principles," anito at naunang maglakad.
"What?"
"If humans are weak. They shouldn't be ruling on this country now," in his duh tone.
What that's suppose to mean?
Mainit ang ulo ko na naglalakad patungo sa bahay ng mga Hawkins. I really hate it! Hindi ko maintindihan. We have all the right to claim rightfully what is ours. We are stronger, smarter and we have all the power to rule this world! Pero papaanong ang mga katulad namin ay nagtatago sa dilim? And now, our kingdom was forgotten. Funny it is, and our race became a what? A myth?!
