I always saw life as an adventure; there are so many wonders and places to discover. However, I have always lived in Hobbiton, which is a town in the Shire.  I'm a hobbit, and I live in a hole with my mother and father and my younger sisters. My name is Daisy Lightfoot; I'm thirty years old. In human years I would be sixteen. I've always lived a quiet life in the Shire; we would have good food, sing songs, tell stories, and have so many parties. This was the life of a hobbit, and it couldn't get any better than that. I had good friends that I liked to spend time with: Samwise Gamgee was the gardener for the Baggins Estate, he was a kindhearted person, and I was grateful for his friendship. He also had the best advice, and I felt like I could tell him anything. Pippin Took and Merry Brandybuck were quite the troublesome duo; they liked stealing crops from Farmer Maggot's garden, and they were fascinated with Gandalf the Grey's fireworks that he always brought whenever he would visit. I never stopped laughing when I was with them. Almost every single party we had in the Shire always had the duo pulling pranks. Gandalf wasn't a fan of their antics.

Last but certainly not least was my dearest friend Frodo Baggins. I was the closest to him. We have known each other since we were children, and we were practically inseparable. Frodo lived in Bag End with his uncle Bilbo; he moved to Bag End after his parents died in a rowboat accident. I have fancied him for a long time, because he was so sweet and kind to me. His blue eyes were like the moon over the sea, and I couldn't think straight when I was with him, but I was good at composing myself. I was grateful for his friendship. One of our favorite past times was to sit together reading books. We would sit under the oak tree in the field just enjoying each others' company. Sometimes we would have deep and meaningful conversations about life, and we would often race each other to the river where we liked to stargaze, but I always managed to fall in the river which Frodo would make fun of me for. This was my wonderful life in Hobbiton with my family and best friends.
Our small corner of Middle Earth would suddenly become big when Gandalf the Grey came riding into our town. Everything was about to change.
The sun was shining and the birds were singing. Frodo and I were in our favorite spot reading, we were enjoying the quiet. I thought I saw him take a quick glance and smile at me. I smiled back and resumed reading my book. Just then we heard the quiet trotting of horses and the rolling of wagon wheels. It was Gandalf! Frodo and I instantly got excited and ran to the path to greet him. The old wizard looked surprised to see us waiting for him. "You're late," Frodo scolded humorously. "A wizard is never late Frodo Baggins nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to." we looked at each other in silence for a while and then we burst into laughter. "Good to see you Gandalf!" I said excitedly and Frodo and I hugged him. "Good to see you both, young hobbits." Gandalf hugged us back.

We rode with him on his carriage while he drove it through the Shire. Our fellow hobbits began cheering for Gandalf and Frodo and I smiled in wonder. The youngest hobbits were the most excited to see him

"A long expected party," Gandalf observed the other hobbits decorating for Bilbo Baggins's eleventy-first birthday party. He had invited everyone to the celebration, luckily my family was invited. "Bilbo invited everyone, people think he's up to something." Frodo told him. "Why's that?" The old wizard asked. "Apparently the others think Baggins's are supposed to not doing anything unexpected and not supposed to go on adventures," I answered. I had spent enough time with Frodo to know that. "I was mainly there to give your uncle a little nudge out the door." Gandalf replied. "Whatever you did, you officially have been labeled a disturber of the peace," added Frodo. "It was of his own accord." The wizard said.

"Alright, keep your secrets." Frodo replied amused. When we reached the Baggins Estate, Frodo and I ran off to check out the current festivities that were going on. "Race you!" I exclaimed to Frodo and I started running, my brown curly hair bouncing against my back. "Not fair! You got a head start!" Frodo started running behind me and we made it to our favorite spot in the Shire. It was by the small river where it would quietly run, and we would watch the little fish go by. I suddenly tripped and fell in the river, and Frodo started laughing. My blue dress was soaking wet and I was shivering. To humor him I curtsied dramatically. Thank you for your kind reaction, Mr. Baggins!" "Well done Miss Lightfoot," he clapped humoring me. After a while I got an idea. I held my arms out to him, "I need a hug!" "No, Daisy!" He shouted running away from me. "But Frodo! I need a hug!" I ran after him and eventually caught up to him and through my arms around him in a hug. "You're so cold," he shuddered, and after a minute he hugged me back. "You're wonderful, Daisy." Frodo said smiling at me. His blue eyes made me melt whenever they would light up. "So are you," I smiled back. "Come on, let's get you dried off." Frodo held my hand as we walked back to his house. The magical evening was awaiting us.
