Lady Galadriel gave us gifts before we set off. Frodo was given the light of Elandil, Legolas was given a new bow, Merry and Pippin were given new daggers, and I was given an amulet. It was to remind me of my strength and to never forget it. Gimli seemed to fancy Galadriel, and asked for a piece of her hair. She gave him three.
We road in a boat to Parth Galen, on the river Anduin. A little after we got there, Boromir suddenly snapped and tried to take the ring from Frodo!
He tried to escape using the ring and I tried to help him.
"Where's Frodo?" Boromir pointed his sword at me! The knight was crazed with rage. "Answer me, Daisy!" "I-I don't know. I haven't seen him." I pointed my sword at him to defend myself, because I was getting scared. "I know that you know where he is," he stepped closer to me. "If you're lying to me, then I will kill you!" he slashed his sword at me and I blocked his attack. "Stay away from Frodo or I'll kill you!" I screamed. I hit him with the hilt of my sword to knock him down. I ran away to go find him before Boromir could continue his attack.
My legs were sore by the time I was out of sight. I fell back against a tree in exhaustion. I caught my breath and kept running. The ring was starting to drive other people mad, and it seemed as if it was going to drive the Fellowship apart. I wasn't going to let Frodo go by himself, and I always keep my promises.
"Daisy." I heard Frodo whisper. I turned around and saw him putting his pack into one of the boats. "Frodo, thank goodness." I rushed to help him pack the boat. "Boromir tried to kill me." "Me too." Frodo said breathlessly. "I need to get out of here, I'm going to Mordor alone." "No, I'm coming with you. You're not going alone. I promised I would come with you every step of the way, and I intend on keeping that promise." I said more determined of anything than I have been in my entire life.
"I'm grateful to have you, Daisy." he kissed me on the forehead and then the lips. "I'm grateful for you too." I smiled lovingly.
Together we got in the boat and drifted off into the unknown.
