"Stop it" I huff pulling Colby away from the girl as they found each other again in another store "why Sammy?" he asks pulling me close to him "just stop" I huff "why?" he asks again "I don't like it" I whine he hums "so your jealous?" "no" I huff lying "mhmm" he hums and walking away "nooo" I whine when he's going to the girl and he chuckles "your jealous, Sammy" I huff "and if I am?" I say "get over it" he says walking over to her but I grab his hand dragging him out of the store "fine, have it your way" he huffs and I go to the others who are in a different store "guys let's leave" I say and they go to the cashier paying for their things. We leave the mall and get into our cars and go back to Colby's house. We soon get back and we go inside going to the living room "why did you want to leave?" Devyn asks I shrug "got bored" I say and Colby chuckles "sure" he says "what do you mean?" Jake asks him grabbing a controller playing a game with Corey "he got jealous" he says leaning back "no I didn't!" "about what?" Tara asks "I didn't get jealous!" I huff Colby hums "I met a girl there and was talking with her" Colby says pulling out his phone "only cause she came to you in lingerie" I huff knowing he wouldn't have talked to her if she wasn't "sounds like your jealous, Sam" Corey says "whatever" I mumble leaning back looking in my lap "it's not that big of a deal Sam, it's not like they'd find each other again unless he got her number" Devyn says "did you?" Tara asks him "nah" he says his eyes on his phone I sigh playing with the hem of my skirt. Why am I even jealous, of course he'd like her over me there's no surprise in that, if he liked me back he'd already have asked me out I should just move on go back to how it was being his bestfriend nothing more. I sigh and get up leaving the room going up to Colby's room. I grab my earbuds from my bag and I lay on my back on the bed staring at the ceiling listening to music.

Colby

I'm too busy texting that girl from the mall that I don't notice Sam leaving until my name gets called "what?" I say finally looking up noticing Sam's gone "where'd he go?" I ask looking at Corey since he's the one that called my name "he just walked off, but he seemed hurt" he says and I shrug "I didn't do anything" "yes you did Colby, we told you to stop teasing him before you hurt him and you obviously did" Jake says mad "I didn't do anything!" "yes you did! you knew talking to that girl was gonna affect him and you continued to talk to her, if anything that's who your texting right now! if you don't like him just tell him and stop playing with his feelings cause all your doing is hurting him more then just knowing that you don't like him back!" he says angered "I never said I didn't like him back, I said multiple times that I'm confused cause I've never liked a boy before" I say "well go talk to him about it since he's the only one that would now what to do and how to figure that out, and what your doing doesn't help you find out! if anything take the chance and ask him out, all your doing his toying with him, and it especially doesn't help if your going to talk to some random girl that happened to find you hot and came up to you in lingerie to get someone in her pants, so you either stop teasing him and ask him about your situation, or stop teasing him and go be with some slut" he says getting up and grabbing his keys leaving "he's right Colby, you probably didn't mean to hurt Sam but we warned you about it, you may be his bestfriend but we've been friends with him longer than you but you should've already learned that he's sensitive and won't tell anyone how he's feeling so you should've known this was hurting him from the beginning" Devyn says all three of them leaving I sigh deeply and put my head in my hands. I groan rubbing my face and getting up heading upstairs and to my room where Sam probably is. I open the door and he's staring at the ceiling and he looks up wiping his face and sitting up "hi Colby" he says quietly taking out his earbuds "hey" I mumble closing the door behind me with a sigh "are you ok?" he asks "are you ok?" I ask making him furrow his brows confused "you were crying" I state "oh" he mumbles "I was just listening to sad music" he says I hum "why'd you come up here?" I ask sitting criss cross on the bed infront of him and he shrugs "no one was talking to me" he mumbles I nod "I'm sorry" I say and he looks at me confused again "about talking to that girl" I say and he nods "it's ok, really, I don't care do whatever you want" he says and I sigh looking at my hands playing with my rings feeling bad "I'm serious Colby, I shouldn't be the reason that you can't date anyone else cause of a stupid crush, do whatever you want I don't care" he says and I scan his face and look into his eyes seeing if he's being serious or just saying it to hide the fact he does care but he seems sincere "are you sure?" I ask and he nods "I'm sure, Colby, plus you haven't dated anyone in a long time so go for it" he says with a small laugh making fun of me "hey, you haven't either" I say and he nods "I know, but that's different" I furrow my brows "how?" "I'm gay not much people are or their just closeted and too scared to ask, your straight most people are, I'm ugly, your hot, I never found interest in anyone else but you, and you are picky and push every girl away you don't find attractive plus you and Jake stopped me from giving someone my number who actually seemed to like me" he explains and I nod "sorry about that" I say and he shrugs "it's fine, he had a girlfriend anyway I seen her about to come up to him but stormed off when he said I was cute" he says sounding a bit upset and I pull him in a hug "I'm sorry Sammy" he sighs leaning into my touch "can we go to sleep?" he asks I hum and lay down with him on top of me pulling the covers over us and he soon falls asleep.
