31. Back To Reality.

• Lilac's POV •

It was my first day back at school since the funeral. I stuck to myself and made my way throughout the crowded halls and away from everyone. I hadn't spoken to Miles for a week or two, i couldn't really remember. We haven't really made effort to see each other lately. It's like he became totally distant in my time of need. These past few weeks it felt like my personality completely changed and i have really opened my eyes on who i do and don't want in my life, and Miles wasn't one of them.

I turn the corner into the Slytherin common room. I felt disgusted even being in here but it's what i needed to do. I took a deep breath and pushed the door open.

"Hello sexy, fancy seeing you in here. Missing the old times have we?" Goyle said all up in my face.

"Outta my way fool." I said as i pushed him to the ground.

"Blaise!" I shout out. "Where's Miles."

"Oh hey Lilac, i'm sorry i only just got back a few minutes ago i'm not so sure. Check his room." Blaise said as unpacked his bag.

I walked up a flight of stairs until i reached a room with Miles name written across it. I knocked on the door. No answer, however i heard voices mumbling.

"Miles. Open up!" I shout.

The mumbling stops but no one answered the door.

"Fine i'll do it my way then." I whispered to myself as i kicked the door down.

I walked in and saw Miles, shirtless and Pansy Parkinson making out.

"Oh shit. What y'all doing? screwing?" I gasped.

"Wait Lilac. I can explain." Miles throws his shirt on and ran towards me.

"Don't bother." I laughed hysterically. "I came here to dump you so."

"What?" He asked.

"Yeah.. now you can fuck whoever you want." I said, giving him the finger and leaving the room.

I let out a loud sigh. That felt amazing.

I made my way out of the Slytherin common room while everyone stared at me. I rushed into the hallway and took a breather. What the fuck just happened.

"Lilac wait." Blaise called out. "I just heard.. i'm so sorry i had no idea."

"Don't worry about it, i'm actually happy about this." I replied.

He smiled. "You weren't in love with him."

"No but how do you know that." I gave him a puzzled look.

"Anyone with a brain would know that you're in love with George Weasley."

"I- i don't know."

"You're going through something huge at the moment. It's natural to be confused about it, you haven't exactly been on good terms with him lately." He reassured me.

"I guess you're right. You're not so bad for a Slytherin." I chuckled.

"See you around." He said as he went back to the common room.

I made my way back to the Ravenclaw girls dormitory. I enter and see Cho, Hermione and Ginny. They set up the room with some of my favourite things.

"Surprise!" Ginny yelled.

I gazed around the room. "Wow this is amazing."

"We know you've been down recently, but we want you to know that no matter how difficult a situation becomes, you'll always have us by your side." Hermione's announced as we all group hugged.
