10. Jealously.

• Lilac's POV •

The next morning i wake up and jump into the shower.
I walk out of the bathroom and was about to get changed until i hear a tapping noise at my window, i look over and see rocks being thrown up. I walk over and open the window.

"Hello love, down here." George says.

"What are you doing here George?" I reply.

"Just wanted to see if you wanted to walk to school together." He replied.

"George, your room is at school." I reply giggling.

"Fine you caught me, i really just wanted to see you before classes start."

"But you're missing breakfast, the most important part!" I gasp.

"Not to worry, i have that covered."

He pulls out a bag of food and waves it around.

"Oh Lilac, May i please come inside?." George sings loudly.

"GEORGE SHUSH!" I yell while laughing.

"Oh Lilac." George sings even louder.

"Yes okay you can come in." I reply trying hard to stop laughing. "You can use that ladder it'll lead up to my window."

I help him pull him in through the window while he places his bag gently on the floor.

"Oh i'm so sorry, i didn't realise you weren't dressed yet!" George gasps while blushing and rubbing his head."

"Oh uh yeah sorry, i kinda just got out of the shower." I reply as i look down.

"I'm sorry i'll wait outside until you finish getting changed." He said, as he walks towards the door and closes it.

"Thankyou, i won't be too long."

"That's okay love, take your time just give a shout when you're finished." George yells from outside.

I quickly grab my clothes and yell for George to enter.

"Oh hello love, missed me already?" George teases.

"Oh yes i missed you SO much." I mock while giggling.

George walks over to his bag and pulls out the breakfast bag.

"Here, open." He says while giving me a smirk.

I open the bag and see 2 strawberry pancakes with ice cream.

"Strawberry pancakes!?" I scream. "I haven't had these in so long."

"I remember you telling me that these were your favourite so i thought i'd surprise you!" George replies as he pushes my hair behind my ears and placed his hand on my cheek.

I felt butterflies in my stomach, as my heart started beating twice as fast. I stared at him and he stared back, i suddenly forgot about everything i was once worried about before. I felt.. safe.

"Thankyou." I say as i pull him in for a hug.

• George's POV •

I feel my heart skip a beat as Lilac pulls me in for a hug, her hugs felt warm. I looked down as she laid her head on my chest and i wrapped my hands around her waist and held her tightly. I softly kissed her head, she smelt of coconuts and vanilla bean. I smile to myself as i cherish this moment.

"Shall we eat love?" I whisper into her ear.

"Yes!" Lilac replies excitedly.

I didn't think i'd feel so close to someone before, besides Fred. I feel like i've known her my whole life.
