37. Hidden Away.

• Lilac's POV •

The next couple of day i spent at the burrows. George and Fred went back to Hogwarts but always came back after classes. I decided to wait until this whole situation with Bellatrix blew over before attending school again however i still had an uneasy feeling in my stomach.

It was almost 2pm and i'd been up in my room all day. I hadn't really spoken to Dad properly since we got here and i was in need of some 1 on 1 time with him. I walked over to my door and heard chatter coming from downstairs. I quickly raced downstairs in hopes that i'd be able to talk to my father alone. I saw a group of people in the living room as i crept in quietly.

"Oh, good afternoon dear." Molly announced before everyone turned and stared at me.

"Hello." I said sheepishly. "What's going on?"

"You remember Remus and Tonks?" Arthur asked.

"Yes of course. Nice to see you again." I smiled.

"Hello Lilac." Remus said.

"Dear would you like something to eat?" Molly asked as she rushed me out of the room.

"I didn't mean to interrupt." I said.

"Oh nonsense you did no such thing!" She reassured me.

"Is everything okay with my Dad?"

"Of course dear, matter of fact we were just discussing your birthday." She said excitedly.

"Oh?" I laughed uneasy. "May i talk to my Dad?"

"Yes dear go go." She said. "I'll prepare some food for you."

"Thank you." I smiled.

"Hi Dad." I said as i walked back into the living room.

"Hey Pumpkin, everything okay?" He asked nervously.

"Yes.. are you okay?" I asked.

"Lilac honey you're too young to-" He began just as George, Fred, Ginny and Ron walked in.

"He-"

"That's not fair Dad! I'm almost 20 i deserve to know whether or not we're going to die!" I shouted before i stormed back to my room.

I ran into my room and shut the door. I was completely furious. A million thoughts rushed through my head as i heard a knock at the door.

"Go away!" I yelled.

Remus bursted through the door. "Lilac-"

"Don't Remus. Don't cover for him." I said coldly. "I've been through hell and back for years, i've witnessed things at such a young age."

"I know. I'm not covering for him Lilac." He reassured me.

I turn around and sat on a chair near the small desk in the room.

"You really want to know what's going on?" He asked.

"Yes." I crossed my arms.

He rubbed his face and walked towards me "Bellatrix knows." He whispered.

"Knows? Knows what?" I asked giving him a puzzled look.

"She knows where you and Sirius are." He cleared his throat.

"What!" I shout. "How!"

"We're not sure Lilac. We're going everything we can to protect the both of you."

I quickly rushed past him and down the stairs, everyone was still in the living room.

"Lil-" George said before i rushed past him.
