18. Morning after.

Morning after the yule ball.

I woke up to the sound of laughter and talking coming from outside my dorm room. I look over and check the time.

10:30am.

The door opened and Cho crept in quietly. I think she still thought i was sleeping.

"Fun night?" I said, sitting up in my bed.

"Oh Lilac." She jumped. "You're awake!"

"Yes that i am." I replied. "So?"

She rushed over to my bed and began telling me everything that happened last night with her and Cedric.

"... and that's when he asked me to be his girlfriend." She squealed.

We both jump up and down as we laugh.

"That's amazing!" I scream.

"So, what exactly happened between
you and George." She smirked.

"Oh not much just the usual you kno-"

"Did he ask already?" She interrupted.

"Ask what?" I frown, looking confused.

"Ask you to be his girlfriend, of course!" She shouted.

"Oh." I laughed nervously.

George and i had a different kind of relationship than just a typical boyfriend/ girlfriend type. I didn't really know where exactly we stood in terms of relationship wise though. Things were different now that we were young adults and not children anymore. Many feelings were acquired over the years and many years we missed without each other due to the crisis with my dad.

"No actually." I continued.

"Oh, well that's okay! There's no rush." She said in a positive tone. "Did you wanna come to Hogsmeade with Cedric and I?"

"Sure." I reply as i jump out of bed.

Cho and I walk down to breakfast in the great hall. Most students were absent during breakfast this morning.

"Probably all hungover." Cho joked.

"Most likely." I agreed.

We walk over to the Ravenclaw table and grab some breakfast.

"Gosh i'm starved!" She said as she grabbed a waffle and some fruit.

I had already stuffed my face.

"Hell Gorgeous." I hear a voice from behind me.

I look up and see Goyle staring down at me.

"Miss me yet?" He asked.

"Oh god!" I jumped out of my seat.

"What?" He glared at me with a flight look.

"Your face scared me." I laugh.

He growled, looked me up and down before he walked off.

"Yuck, what a creep." Cho said.

"Yeah, he's been like that since i first started here."

"Well well, here comes your knight in shining armour." She grins as i turn and see George enter. Our eyes met almost instantly.

"Hello ladies." George said as he walked upto our table.

"Hey George." Cho smirked at the both of us.

"Fun night?" He cleared his throat as he looked my way and smirked.
