Big News

SOOYOUNG'S POV

AND FINALLY! The fashion show is over!! Yerim's mom and my mom are now close as they sat together awhile ago. A lot of reporters came and I think my mom blocked all the schedules of our artists as they came to my fashion show which causes an uproar. 

We are now currently at the Palace a restaurant as my mom says, it is to celebrate the success of my first ever fashion show but we are all here, including EXO oppadeuls and Blackpink. 

Well, it is kinda awkward as Blackpink is from different company so I am sure it will make it to the headline, them having a meal with the big boss of the competitor of their agency. 

"Thank you EXO for helping my daughter, well, especially to Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Sehun. Due to that, I'll make sure you'll have a one week vacation for that." My mom said with a bright smile on her face as well as my dad.

"Thank you seongsengnim." Baekhyun oppa said and looked at me to give me a thumbs up and so I also gave him a thumbs up in return.

"Okay, so since we are already here. I want to announce that Bae Joohyun, my daughter and Kim Seokjin are the first one to get married." Mr. Bae announced. My eyes went round as soon as he mentioned Seokjin oppa and not Taehyung oppa. 

"Dad! That can't happen! I'm in a relationship with Taehyung!" She said in a loud voice and looked at his dad.

Well, his dad seems to know something. He doesn't seem surprised when eonnie told him that.

"I know. I considered it but I know Seokjin is much better for you and besides, I am in talks with his parents before I made my final decision and they have someone in mind." Her dad said in calm tone. 

I can see her tears are already falling. It seems like their relationship is against all odds. 

"How could you do this to me?" She cried and looked at her mom but her mom is just having a straight face. 

How can she take it? Joohyun eonnie is crying in front of her, I mean her child is crying in front of her. 

"So since, the commotion is on, I'll also have an announcement to make." My dad said. So what the hell is this? Some kind of meeting and not a congratulatory meeting?

I looked at my brother and he seemed to be looking at me already and we both took a deep breath. 

"I am so happy that I did not have any problems with my children's arranged marriage as it is a mutual decision for both sides. My son, Park Jimin will marry Kang Seulgi and as for my princess, she'll marry Kim Taehyung." My dad said and it feels like cold water was splashed on me. I looked at Jungkook and he's head is looking down. 

"And for my princess, Kim Yerim, it will be Jeon Jungkook." Yerim's dad said

"And lastly, my daughter will marry Min Yoong-gi." Wendy eonnie's dad said in a joyful tone.

The parents offered a toast but it seems to be like the rest of us is not having it. 

"Uhm, saem! I think we'll be late for our own after-party, we should get going." Baekhyun oppa said which caught my attention.

What after-party is he talking about?

"Oh, go ahead and we'll finish our dinner here." My dad said as he signalled us to go ahead.

I know what he is thinking now. He saved us from that deadly moment.

We immediately stood up and went to the parking lot.

"Oppa! Thank you so much!" I said to Baekhyun oppa.

"It's nothing you know. I didn't knew that there's still going on like this." He said in disbelief.

"I know right." I said in a sad tone.

Jimin oppa walked towards us.

"Hyung, thank you." He said.

"Yah! Sooyoung already thanked me, stop it already." He said and giggled.

"Why don't we really throw an after-party?" I asked to divert the attention.

"That sounds great! But where?" Sehun oppa asked. 

"In our resort in Jeju if you like?" Wendy eonnie said. 

We looked at her for a minute and afterwards, before we knew, we are already driving on our way home to pack and on the way there we booked our tickets as well. 

JUNGKOOK'S POV

I am currently at my room packing some of my stuff for our trip to Jeju but the thought that my girl's fiance is Taehyung... it makes me feel worried. 

Sooyoung used to like him... at least or she still likes him?

KNOCK--KNOCK

Someone knocked that's why I stopped what I am doing and went to open the door. 

When I opened the door, I saw Sooyoung. She smiled at me and hugged me immediately. 

I hugged her back and walked into my room without breaking the hug. 

"Are you okay?" She asked. 

"Are you done packing?" I asked in return. I do not want to lie to her but I also don't want her to worry about me at the same time. That's why I tried to divert the topic.

But of course, Sooyoung being Sooyoung.

"You're not answering my question..." She said and looked at me with her overreacted sad face.

It made me giggle tho. 

"I am... fine." I said and smiled at her.

"You are not." She said and gave me a peck on my lips and hugged me tighter.

"Well, I cannot help it. My girl is engaged with somebody else and not just somebody else. The guy she used to like." I said honestly and she looked at me as soon as I said that.

"You are engaged as well." She said and pout.

Yeah right, we are both engaged.

"But I don;t like Yerim romantically at least." I defended. 

"Hmm... but love, you see. I love you now. I may use to like Taehyung oppa but that's all in the past and besides, he's with Joohyun eonnie." She said and cupped my face. That make sense. 

"I know, but I just can't help it." I said and looked down.

"I understand but don't worry. We got this, alright?" She said and kissed me and I responded to her kiss as a respond. 

She breaks our kiss and smiled at me. 

"Finish packing, I'll do the same." She said as she escaped from my arms.

"Okay, I'll see you later." I said and smiled at her. 

I started to pack again and now, I packed at ease.
