Nothing Like Us

Right

SEULGI'S POV

I got flustered by Sooyoung's question but nope, we are not dating. We barely even talk but I can see how sensible he is but even though I'll like him... I can't. I can't just like anybody without my dad's approval.

KNOCK KNOCK

I waited for him to open his door but there's no response so I tried to check if the door is lock and it isn't so I opened it and I saw Jimin on his veranda. 

"Jimin" I called him as I walk towards him. He looked at me but didn't speak at all but he suddenly looked at me in panic mode.

"Why? Does Sooyoung needs something?" He said panicking.

I look at him for a while before answering. I can see that he really cares for her sister, how I wish I also have someone in my family who's going to protect me in tough times.

I smiled at him.

"Hey, no, she's all good. Jungkook is taking care of her right now. You don't need to worry that much." I said as I pat his shoulders.

He looked at the night sky and sigh.

"Thank you and I think I'll thank Jungkook later." He said without looking at me.

He is looking so far away that made me feel that he is really not okay. I suddenly felt that I want to stay by his side. I can stay, right?

"I told you, Sooyoung is like my sister already..." I said to him and looked at the sky as well.

No one is talking but I appreciate his presence. I hope he feels the same way. 

I can feel the sudden look that made me look at him.

"Why are you here anyway?" He asked.

"I just thought you need someone to talk to. You fought with your best friend because of what he did to your sister. It's kind of heavy, don't you think?" I said to him and look at the view once again to avoid the rising awkwardness. 

"It is. This is the first time I got mad at Taehyung. We are usually always on the same page but I cannot just close my eyes with this one. He is hurting my sister." He said and looked down.

"I get it. Everything will be fine, Jimin. Don't worry about it too much. Besides, if you are worrying about Sooyoung. She already got herself and someone got her as well." I said meaningfully that made him look at me.

"Who?" He asked in a really intimidating tone.

"Y-you and Jungkook of course! including me!" I said in a panic mode because I thought he'll just laugh it off but he looked really serious.

"Right, she got us. I just can't let her be with boys right now." He said out of nowhere.

"Why? Are we in the 90s?" I asked in a joking tone.

"She'll get hurt." He simply said.

I am trying to lighten up the mood several times already but I also failed every time I tried.

"Jimin, I know that you are concern and you don't want her to get hurt but sometimes that's where we learn. If you'll forbid her, she will not learn and might get hurt more in the future." I seriously said. I speak as Sooyoung's best friend and eonnie. 

He did not speak so I think that's a sign for me to leave. 

I pat his shoulders and give him a smile before I left the room.
