Seeing your discussion about my story feels great somehow since it means you are really hooked but to avoid confusion and misinterpretation.
The girls are not really close to each other to begin with. The boys are close since they've been studying in the same school for years already. As you can notice from the first few chapters, Sooyoung got easily closed with the boys, Seulgi and Yerim and in Irene's part, she's just an "ex girlfriend" for the boys except for Seokjin (I think you guys know what I mean). So as time goes by they're like in a group but Irene is still a "semi-mysterious" to them. Yerim sided Sooyoungie for some reasons that will be revealed in the future chapters while Seulgi, she gotten closer to Sooyoung because of Jimin and she always got her back, remember?. And in terms with the boys, they got easily attached to her due to her personality.
Okay HAHA and with the Sooyoung-Taehyung-Joohyun part, please remember that Sooyoung has been living in the US for too long so she is not really the conservative type so her affection with Taehyung comes out naturally but when she realized that her feelings has been developed she tried to stopped it but things got messier when Joohyun got mad at her.
