Y/N's POV:
"You girls can take a seat wherever you like. I will tell Colson that you're here and I'm sure he'll be out soon to meet you," Erin directed the four of you to a seating area backstage, a huge table surrounded by numerous couches and armchairs. Erin pointed Aspen and Tessa to the nearest bathroom as you and Raven plopped down on one of the couches.
"Any food or drinks on the tables at the back of the room are up for grabs so please take whatever you want," Erin explained.
"Thank you so much, Erin," Raven smiled up at the young woman.
"Of course, you are so welcome! Please come get me if you have any questions or concerns. I will be kind of floating around backstage so here is my number if you can't find me," Erin said, quickly scribbling her phone number down on a post-it note before handing it to you and then walking away.
You and Raven sat on the couch for a few more minutes before Aspen and Tessa returned. Aspen sat next to you on the couch while Tessa opted for one of the armchairs.
"Woah, look at all of the food back there," Aspen said as she pointed to the tables that Erin had told you and Raven about.
"Erin said we can take whatever we like!" Raven responded.
"Oh, well don't mind if I do," Tessa giggled as she got up from the armchair and walked over to the table. Aspen followed but not before asking you and Raven if you wanted anything.
"Can you just grab me a soda please?" you asked Aspen.
"I'll take a beer please," Raven joined in.
"Okay, one beer for mom and a soda for the child," Aspen said, poking fun at your nonalcoholic drink choice.
"Hey, I'm probably going to make a fool of myself sober so let's not add alcohol to the equation," you said as Aspen walked away.
"Hey, I know that was probably a joke but Y/N, you are an amazing person and you don't need to put yourself down like that. I love you and I'm sure that everyone who meets you tonight will also love you," Raven said as she wrapped her arms around you in a warm hug.
"Thanks, Raven. I'm just nervous about meeting Colson I guess," you told Raven, still hugging her.
"Yeah, that totally makes sense but he is lucky to be meeting all of us. We are a pretty cool group of girls if you ask me," Raven laughed before the two of you ended the hug.
"Hey, girlies! Here are your drinks," Aspen said as she and Tessa returned with food and drinks in hand. You thanked Aspen as she handed you your soda.
"Y/N was just telling me that she is nervous to meet Colson. How are you two feeling?" Raven directed the question towards Aspen and Tessa. You noticed that Tessa was staring at something across the room so you followed her gaze, landing on the very man in question, Colson Baker. You gasped, seeing that he was walking over to the four of you. Raven and Aspen quickly picked up on what was happening.
