You smiled as you read the text from Aspen in your girls' night group chat.
My apartment in 30 and I'll spill all the details?
You hit send before getting out of bed, seeing that it was 2:00 PM already.

The message was from Raven and within a few minutes, Aspen and Tessa also sent messages saying that they were heading on over.
You made yourself a quick breakfast before turning on the coffee machine in case your friends wanted any when they got to your apartment.
A knock on your door signaled that at least one of your friends had arrived. You looked through the peephole to find Tessa waiting there, a huge smile already on her face. As soon as you opened the door, Tessa launched into the apartment, giving you an enormous hug.
"Good to see you too, Tessa," you laughed.
"I can't wait to hear everything and I swear if you leave out any details..." Tessa said before she was interrupted by the arrival of Raven and then Aspen. The two also greeted you with hugs before the four of you settled down in your tiny living room area, Tessa and Aspen basically sitting on top of each other on one of the chairs because there wasn't much sitting room.
"So, tell us everything!" Raven said.
You immediately launched into the story of your night with Pete, making sure not to leave out any details.
When you brought up Pete's hoodie, you stood up, showing it off to your friends as you hadn't taken it off since last night.
"What?! Hopefully, he'll let you keep it," Tessa joked.
"A girl can dream," you responded.
You told your friends the rest of the story, ending with the hug that Pete gave you before he left.
"Y/N, you didn't kiss him?!" Aspen exclaimed.
"Yeah, what the hell, that would have been the perfect time," Tessa agreed.
"I thought about it but I think it will be more meaningful if it happens on our first date."
"So, last night wasn't the first date?" Raven asked.
"No. He wants to take me on a proper first date, probably a nice restaurant or something," you answered Raven's question.
"I still can't believe you two didn't sleep together. The tension between the two of you was actually insane," Tessa commented.
"Tessa! I'm sure it will happen soon enough. I mean I'm really attracted to him obviously," you said with a laugh.
