You pulled into the parking lot and parked your car before turning it off. Your eyes fell upon the very building that Pete had brought you to after your movie in the park date. You picked up your phone and called Pete, nerves running through your body as you were both excited and nervous about meeting all of the cast and crew.
You hadn't seen Pete since Thanksgiving last week, the two of you unable to hang out over the weekend as you were swamped with schoolwork that you had procrastinated on during the break. However, not seeing each other in person didn't mean that you were left completely in the dark when it came to hearing from your boyfriend. Leading up to today, Pete had consistently sent you messages with words of encouragement, assuring you that you had absolutely no reason to think that the cast and crew wouldn't love you.
"Hey, babe, I'm here," you said once Pete answered the phone call.
"Okay, I'll come out and get you. Give me a sec."
"Got it, bye," you said as you hung up the phone and waited in the car, taking deep breaths to calm your still present nerves, evidenced by your left leg which was bouncing up and down involuntarily.
You saw Pete walk out of the building and he made his way over to your car. You got out and ran up to him, greeting him with a hug and kiss.
"Hey, sweetheart, ready to meet everyone?"
"As ready as I'll ever be I guess," you said.
"Don't worry, they'll love you."
Pete held your hand as the two of you walked into the building. The first people that you ran into were the people at the front desk. Pete introduced you and you shook everyone's hand with a huge smile on your face.
"It's nice to meet all of you!" you said.
"It's nice to meet you too, Y/N. Pete talks about you all of the time so it's nice to finally put a face to the name."
You looked up at Pete who was blushing. You didn't think that he ever talked about you at work but it looked like you were wrong.
"We'll see you guys later," Pete said as he pulled you further into the studio, eventually ending up at the costume department.
"Hey, so, I have to get fitted for a costume real quick but you can come with me and meet some of the crew members. We're having lunch catered in like thirty minutes so that's when you'll be able to meet everyone else."
"Okay, sounds good," you said.
"Hey, everyone, this is my girlfriend, Y/N. She's just hanging around the studio today. Is it okay if she's here?"
"Yeah, of course, Pete. Hi, Y/N, it's so nice to meet you!" one of the costume department members said to you, "My name is Laurence and I should note that Pete never fails to mention you when he's in here."
