Chapter 15

"are you sure hes home?" sarah turns to her cousin.

"ye- well- no... not really."

sarah sighs "lets just come back another time."

as soon as the last word came out of her mouth, the door swung open to reveal a tall boy with dark hair and blue eyes, and an annoyed expression on his face.

now why were they there?

well another month had passed since the last chapter, it was already summer break.

sarah was already feeling better about the ben situation.

she was happier, picking up new hobbies.

sarah and her cousin, shoyo, really hit it off again when he came to visit, so they began visiting each other every week or so.

he was currently teaching her how to play volleyball.

the girl already knew how the game worked, the positioning, point system, and all that stuff from being fukurodani's manager.

so all that was left to teach her was the basic skills.

sarah wasnt the tallest, standing at 5'4, but neither was shoyo and he was a middle blocker for his school in miyagi.

but he could also jump really high.

sarah couldnt.

she could pass very well for a beginner, and could volley pretty okay, but when shoyo was trying to show her how to hit and serve the ball she failed miserably.

the two were currently on shoyo's front lawn, the boy trying to get sarah to hit the ball.

"just try to make contact with it one more time?"

"its no use, cant we just go back to passing???" sarah pouts.

shoyo sighs, looking away.

"fine."

they both began passing back and forth, keeping a rally going.

"oh hey i think one of my friends could teach you how to hit properly." hinata exclaims excitedly, the ball sarah just passed landing at his feet.

"who?"

and thats how they ended up on kageyama's front porch.

"what do you want dumbass?"

"hey kageyama!!! this is my cousin, sarah!" he gestures to the girl.

kageyama's eyes snapped to the direction of sarah, eyes going wide as he noticed her standing there.

"hey," she waved shyly to him.

his face went a deep red.

"oh- i- uh- i-im s-swageyama tobiyolo-,"

sarah stiffles a laugh, shoyo having to cover his whole face to stop himself from laughing.

"nice to meet you- pffft- swageyama tobiyolo!" the girl says with a big smile, almost letting her laughter burst out.

"wait- uh- no- kag- kageyama tobio... not swageyama tobiyolo." the poor boy tries to correct himself.

"oh well then nice to meet you kageyama tobio," sarah giggles.

kageyama nods, still staring at the girl.

"well..." hinata starts, gaining the flustered boy's attention, causing him to get an angry look on his face.

"what do you want boke?"

"sarah and i were wondering if you could teach her how to hit?"

"oh..." kageyama's flustered look comes back, with a bit of panic to it as well.

then an oven beeps from inside the house.

"sorryineedtogetmycookiesfromtheovennicemeetingyoubye!" he slams the door shut in their faces.

"okay then..."
