Chapter 9

Third person POV:

The three teens spend the rest of the day touring around Tokyo, visiting stores and sightseeing.

Then the end of the day comes and they head over to the train station, bags in hand and exhausted af.

Well really except for Sarah, who's radiating more energy than before and is bouncing on the balls of her feet while waiting for the train to arrive.

"So Sarah-chan, did you have fun??" Akaashi questions the energetic girl.

"Yeah Akaashi, i did," she faintly giggles. "Thanks you guys for showing me around, especially you 'kaashi for putting up with me and Bokuto's behavior ahaha."

"Oh, It's not a big deal, i'm used to Bokuto-san being this way," he smiles slightly. "Also, "kaashi?"

"Oh ya!" Sarah exclaims. "I've decided to give you guys nicknames, now that we're closer."

The setter smiles again and glances over to Bokuto who's being awfully quiet. The captain is currently passed out on the bench next to them, fast asleep.

"I guess Bokuto's finally crashed."

Sarah giggles at his comment and then gasps, remembering something.

"I forgot to say," she pauses. "I probably would have said this earlier if i remembered to, but I never took my medicine this morning, so i'm a little crazier than normal."

Akaashi nods understandingly.

"It's kinda like your a whole different person," he replies.

"Yeah haha, im sorry again."

The black hair male laughs softly and ruffles the short girls hair.

"It's fine. Like i said, Im used to it."

"Thats not something you should get used to."

Akaashi smiles and rolls his eyes. Then the train speeds into the station.

"Time for us to go. I'll just wake up Bokuto-san..." Akaashi stands infront of the sleeping owl and karate chops his side.

"AGHHHHAGHAHHAGAGH!" he yelps and jumps to his feet, rubbing his side. He looks around for the perpetrator and notices Akaashi standing next to him.

"AGKAAAIAIAIAASHI HOW COULD YOU!" the owl boy pouts. Akaashi sighs and drags Bokuto by the arm to the opening train.

Sarah just stands there to the side, watching the two.

"Hurry up, the trains here."

"Hmmph!"

The three teens board the train and find some empty seats.

Sarah sitting in the middle, Akaashi on her left, and Bokuto sprawled out on two seats to her right.

Akaashi notices the brown haired girl has quickly started to loose her energy and starts slowly nodding off and then jerking back awake every few seconds.

Akaashi's is mom instincts take over and the setter lightly pulls the girl's head onto his right shoulder.

She stiffens.

"A-A-Akaashi?" the girl stutters.

"Just try to sleep."

"b-but-"

"I don't mind at all. Just sleep, i can tell your getting tired."

She starts to relax and snuggles into his shoulder.

"Thanks mom," she whispers before falling asleep.

Once they arrive at their stop, Akaashi wakes the sleeping two up.

They head off the train and start to head home.

They reach the street that forks off and Bokuto has to head the other way.

"Bye 'kuto!! Thanks for everything today!" Sarah hugs Bokuto who laughs and hugs her back.

"No problem! Bye Sarah-chan! Akaashi!"

Sarah steps back from the owl's embrace, and her and Akaashi wave goodbye to Bokuto.

The two walk side by side, no one daring to talk. They reach Sarah's house, and she starts walking to the gate, leaving Akaashi standing there.

Then all of the sudden the girl quickly turns around and runs to Akaashi, throwing her arms around his neck. The setter grins and hugs her back tightly.

"Thanks for today,"  she says into his shoulder.

The setter grabs her hands from around his neck and then quickly swoops down and kisses her forehead.

"Bye Sarah-san."

He starts walking away, leaving Sarah standing there totally stunned and very flustered.
