Chapter 11

AYO LOOK WHOS BACK

sarah, ben, and akaashi were all in their first period class together when Ben got called down to the main office.

"aw," he sighs and turns to sarah. "i wont be back for another two months. try not to miss me to much."

sarah giggles and waves him goodbye as he walks out the classroom door.

akaashi had a whole celebration going on inside of him as he watched the boy walk out. finally he would have a chance to talk to sarah without ben being there.

ever since the brunette showed up, he has never left sarah's side, leaving akaashi no way to talk to his crush.

now he has two whole months of sarah to himself with no distractions of ben. and he had a plan.

akaashi was going to invite sarah over to his house that night. not alone of course, but with bokuto as well.

sarah and bokuto are close so of course she would come if bokuto was there.

and the setter knew that she had a free week on her schedule (totally not stalkerish at all lmaoo) and would be able to come.

bonus is that his parent are away the whole week so he had his place to himself. that is, if his older sister doesn't choose to pop by.

kaede akaashi is in her third year of university and chooses to pop back home at random times.

not that she'd tell their parents at all, kaede would just tease him about it forever which akaashi does not want.

the bell rings signalling the end of their class.

akaashi stands up and heads over to where sarah's putting her things away.

"want some help with that?" he asks her. she smiles and shakes her head.

"i'm okay but thanks though."

the setter's heart leaps from her smile.

the two second years walk out of their class to meet bokuto for lunch.

sarah starts humming one of the annoying, catchy gum commercial song.

"i was thinking.." the setter starts. sarah stops humming and looks up at him inoccently.

kawaii

"my parents are out so would you want to come over to my place and sleepover? with bokuto of course, if he can."

the girl stares up at him with a smile growing on her face. then she starts bursting into tears and wraps her arms around his waist, burying her face into his chest.

taken by suprise, akaashi stares down at the girl as his cheeks start to heat up. he then hugs her back and takes in her sweet, floral smell.

"no ones ever invited me to a sleepover before," sarah mumbles into akaashi's chest.
"so... thank you."

akaashi steps back out of the hug and ruffles her hair, smiling.

"HEY!" she smacks his hand away from her hair which causes akaashi to chuckle and take out his phone.

he snaps a quick picture of sarah and quickly slips it back in his pocket before she could react, then grabs sarah's wrist and pulls her faster to bokuto.
