after the small encounter with kageyama, the two began to head back to shoyo's house.

as they entered his property, sarah took a glance at her phone.

the clock read 3:40 pm, sarah then realizing she had to get back home to go out for dinner with her mother that night, and she was asked to drop something off for an old family friend.

"uh, shoyo?" the boy looked in her direction.

"yeah?"

"could you tell auntie and natsu that i had to leave early?"

"why?" he questions.

"i just remembered i had to drop something off for someone, so i need to go now," she ran into the house, grabbing her bag and quickly shutting the door again, shoyo still standing near the steps.

"where is it?"

"just somewhere in sendai," she reaches to ruffle his bright orange hair. "i'll text you later, bye!"

"okay bye! safe travels!" shoyo yells after the girl who already began sprinting down the road.

sarah was on the bus, quickly typing the address of the house she had to stop by.

she spent the first couple minutes on the bus zoning out the window and watching the countryside go by, completely forgetting she didnt know what stop she had to get off at.

the bus pulls to a stop, letting people get off as sarah waited for maps to load.

the bus then slowly starts moving again as the address appears on her screen, showing that the closest bus stop to it was the one they were just at.

sarah gasps and jumps up, yelling "STOP THE BUS!"

the bus quickly stops, causing the girl to fall forward into the seat in front of her.

luckily there was nobody seated directly in front of her, but instead to the left of the empty seat.

sarah slowly looks up at the person from the ground, her feet still in the air.

"that was a little dramatic, dont'cha think?" the tall boy in the seat chuckled, lazily glancing down at her from under his fluffy brown bangs.

she moves her foot to try to kick him in the face, but he dodges.

"hey! you dont just go kicking random strangers!"

"oh, sorry," she sarcastically laughs.

the boy pouts.

"rude. im tooru oikawa."

sarah pulls herself out of the seat and grabs her bag, totally ignoring him.

"hello??? a response please?"

"i need to get somewhere, sorry," she heads to the front of the bus.

"at least tell me your name!" he cries to the girl thats about to step off the steps.

she then turns to look at him.

"sarah tenshi," she says, loud enough for him to hear, before walking off the bus and onto the street, taking off in a run towards her destination.

"oooh must be foreign," oikawa says to himself, typing something into his phone.

sarah takes a step forward, towards the door.

she was finally at the house, the bag she was supposed to deliver in hand as she reached to ring the doorbell.

the girl presses it, not hearing anyone coming to the door.

rocking back and forth on her heals, she decides to look around first to see what type of people her mom is friends with.

there was a volleyball lying on the lawn, and looked like it hadnt been there for long.

in the garden there was what looked to be freshly planted flowers with gloves lying in the dirt, maybe whoever lives here plays volleyball and likes to garden?

sarah reaches up to knock on the door, but is stopped when a tallish boy with a deadpanned expression that looked to be about her age opened the door.
