"hey girly," suki greets the quiet girl as she exits out her gate.

a month had passed since sarah, akaashi, and bokuto's sleepover where they heard the news of ben's death.

everyone had been shocked about the situation,  not knowing how to react.

and there wasnt a funeral either since ben's grandfather, max, didnt feel like doing one.

people respected the old man's wishes, but some, like suki, were suspicious about everything since there wasnt any evidence of the crash.

the only way word got around about the incident was because max was telling everyone about it.

there were no witnesses to a car crash at all, but suki just shrugged it off, trying not to think too much into it.

sarah and the girl began to hang out more frequently in the past month, suki meeting sarah at her house every morning to walk to school.

but sarah wasnt the same as she was before.

and that was expected, since she was grieving over ben of course.

akaashi didnt like seeing her that way though.

she was more clingy and was always hugging someones arm or playing with someones hand, but akaashi still missed the happy girl.

the end of the semester was nearing, meaning summer break was close.

but also meaning exams were coming as well.

sarah and suki had began studying at the library after school to prepare, inviting bokuto and akaashi as well but they both declined.

suki had unexpectedly developed a crush on bokuto since she was around him, sarah, and akaashi more lately.

he was still tryong to get over suki's cousin and sarah's co-manager, yukie, after getting rejected by her over and over.

but the poor boy never seemed to give up.

suki is currently trying to get closer with him though, so hopefully that would lead to him getting over the manager.

meanwhile, sarah is still clueless to her feelings for akaashi.

she's confused about it all but hasn't put a lot of thought into it since she was preoccupied with ben's death.

suki and sarah reached fukurodani, and sarah started glancing around for bokuto and akaashi.

"they have practice, remember?" suki nudges the girl and she nods after realizing.

sarah had taken a break from managing the boys team, too stressed for it all.

she told yukie she wanted to quit but yukie and bokuto (who overheard but promised not to tell the rest) begged her not to so she just decided to take a break.

"i dont know why i keep forgetting-," she began to apologize, eyes welling up with tears, but suki stopped her.

"girl it's alright," she reassured her. " you don't need to apologize."

sarah nods, wiping her eyes, and the two head to their classes.

"now class, can anyone tell me the answer to question 5?" sarah's fourth period teacher asked the class.

no one made a move to answer so their teacher glanced around the room, eyes landing on sarah who was in a totally different world.

"sarah what about you?"

everyones eyes went to the back corner of the room where sarah sat.

the girl looked up from her desk, startled.

"s-sorry miss?" she said.

"the answer to the question, sarah," she repeats.

sarah continues to blankly look at the teacher, not having a clue to what was going on.

"question 5 of the homework you all were assigned last night, did you do it?"

"n-no sorry miss"

her eyes soften as she looks at the girl.

"well maybe try to get that done soon," she then turns back to the chalkboard.

sarah's blank stare returns to her desk as her classmates eyes follow their teacher as she turns back to the board, all except akaashi's who look over the girl worriedly.

im angry cuz i cant think up a name for this stupid book
