Sarah Tenshi starts school at Fukurodani, becomes the manager of the boys volleyball team, and the club's vice captain, Akaashi Keiji, end up falling for her.

akaashi watches the two enter his home.
as soon as akaashi closes the door, he hears the thumping of his basement stares and turns to see bokuto and sarah both no were to be seen.
what are those two on? he sighs and goes to grab three already filled chip bowls to bring them down to the children.
as he reached the bottom of the stairs, bokuto and sarah run to him and grab the bowls, quickly placing them on the table before running over to an open space on the floor and beginning to wrestle.

a movie plays in the background as sarah's phone rings with a notification.
actually, two.
she crawls over bokuto's sleeping form to grab it, chewing on a cookie.
sarah opens the first message, seeing its from her mother.

sarah hums to herself.
thats going to be fun seeing shouyou again!! and natsu as well :)
she opens the second message.
she stared at the second message for a couple seconds before dropping the cookie she had in her hand.
akaashi watched her as she slowly stands up, while staring at her phone, with an unreadable expression on her face.
"what the..."
"whats wrong?" akaashi asks the girl.
"uhmm..." she bites her lip. "i just got a text from suki (remember her), apparently, uh,"
she chokes back a sob and akaashi runs over to her and pulls her close before she bursts into tears.
she wraps her arms around him and crys hard into his chest.
"baby whats wrong?" he whispers.
she puts her phone in his hand and continues to cry.
the setter glances at her screen and his eyes widen.
"oH-,"
on her screen was a text from suki.

akaashi was left speechless.
he didnt know what to say or how to react.
so he just decided he would comfort the girl knowing how her and the late boy were friends.
the setter never liked ben, for stupid reason of course, but not as much as he'd want him dead or would be happy if that were to happen.
he needed to comfort sarah, so he picked her up in bridal style and carried her over to one of the beds in the other room, placing her down gently.
sarah had already ran out of tears. she rubbed her eyes shut and started to drift off to sleep, leaving akaashi there watching her fall asleep peacefully.
well atleast he thought she was asleep.
he began to walk back into the room with a passed out bokuto but a hand enclosed over his wrist, stopping him from walking away.
"stay," the girl whispered before drifting back to sleep, but not taking her hand off akaashi's arm.
hesitantly at first, the dark haired boy crawled into the bed with the girl, grabbing a blanket next to the bed beside him and placing it over himself.
he had his back facing sarah.
sarah rolled over to him in her sleep and draped an arm over his waist and began to unconsciously spoon him.
akaashi was startled and was too scared to move so decided to try and sleep.
