A/N~ Im just going to post this now cuz i've had it ready for a few days

"This is Sarah Tenshi, and she will be our new assistant manager!!!!!" The team cheers and i glance around at them, smiling. "Okay, lets introduce you to everyone," Yukie says. She tells the team to stand in a line and points out each one and names them and their positions.

"This is Tatsuki Washio, a middle blocker, Yamato Sarukui, outside hitter, Akinori Konoha, outside hitter, Haruki Komi, libero, Keiji Akaashi, vice-captain and setter,-" eeeeeeee! "Shuichi Anahori, setter, Wataru Onaga, middle blocker, and Koutarou Bokuto, captain, outside hitter, and our ace!" All of them greet me and i greet them back. They all seem very friendly.

"Hey Tenshi-chan, do you play volleyball?" the owl guy, Bokuto asks.

"N-n-no i d-d-don't," I stutter, which is rare for me. His personality is so bold and energetic that it's startling.

"Bokuto," Akaashi walks up. "She probably doesn't like you using chan at the end of her name. She just met you." Bokuto turns to me apoligetically. "Ahhh i'm sorry!"

"No, no, no," i say. "It's okay, i don't mind. You can all call me by that if you want, becuase we'll all be spending a lot of time together!" Akaashi nods.

"I would actually prefer if you guys called me Sarah cuz thats what i'm used to," I add.

"Okay Sarah-chan!" Bokuto exclaims and hugs me. "we are going to be great friends!"

"Yep!" I hug him back and I peek around him at Akaashi, who has a distant look on his face.

"Alright everyone!" Yukie yells. "Let's get to practice. Do some laps and then set up some hitting lines."

The team starts running laps and me and Yukie stand to the side watching. "An interesting group, eh?" she asks. "Everyone seems normal except for Bokuto, actually," I reply.

Yukie chuckles and says, "he is quite the character!"
I laugh. "Are him and Akaashi close?" I ask.

Yukie pauses for a moment.
"Yeah i guess they are. They spend a lot of time together but Akaashi just seems bored with him. But he just always seems bored, actually."

"Akaashi seems pretty nice," I say.

"Yeah he's a great guy. I used to have a bit of a thing for him last year but he rejected me," shes says sadly.

"Oh."

Whats this feeling i'm getting inside. Am I jealous? Nooo, it can't be. I don't even like Akaashi!

At least thats what i think.

The boys finish up their laps and start setting up hitting lines with Akaashi and the other setter tossing for them, while two others stand on the opposite side blocking.
Bokuto tosses the ball up to Akaashi and goes up first to hit. Akaashi makes slight contact with the ball when all of the sudden Bokuto comes running up and slams it down, past the blockers.

"Woah," I breathe, mesmerized by Bokuto's attack. Yukie hears me and turns her head in my direction.

"He is good, isn't he?" she asks me with a slight smile on her face. I look back up at her and nod.

"Yeah, Bokuto is apart of the top 4 Aces in Japan."
"Thats amazing!" I gush, my eyes turning to stars. We watch the rest of the team hit and they all are amazing.

"They're such a good team!" I exclaim.
"They practice hard, too," Yukie replies.
"It seems like they do!"

After the team is done hitting lines, they work on serves and receives. Then at the end of practice, they play a four on four match where Akaashi and Bokuto's side wins.

The practice ends and they walk over to where I'm standing and I hand out everyones waters. When i get to Bokuto he exclaims, "WASNT I AMAZING, SARAH-CHAN!"
I giggle and nod my head. "Bokuto you're so good! So is the whole team!" i tell him. he smiles and ruffles your hair.
"Thanks," he says proudly, puffing out his chest. I giggle and go to hand Akaashi his water.

When i hand his bottle over, our fingers brush and my breath latches in my throat. He looks me in the eye and smiles. I smile and begin to speak.

"Akaashi, your tosses are so good!" I tell him, eyes wide. He chuckles and I see a bit of red creep up into his cheeks.

"Thanks, Tenshi-san. But i'm not all that great," he says, being modest. But I really think he believes himself as he says that.

"What are you talking about, your so talented!" I insist. "When you set a ball it goes WHOOSH and the hitter's right there and slams it onto the other court past the blockers! Oh and also, just call me Sarah. It's what most of my friends call me!"

He smiles and nods. "Sarah," he tries it out, smirking. I like the way it sounds coming out of his mouth. "Thank you for the compliments, your so kind."

I go red and get a bit flustered.
"No no, its the truth!"
He smiles at me, looking amused. The he reaches out and ruffles my hair.

"I better go get changed," he tells me. "You'll be walking home with us, right?"
"I don't think I was invited," I tell him.
"Well," he says. "Now you are." Then he turns around and walks toward the change room. I smile to myself and go over to Yukie.

"Now how did you like it?" She asks me as I approach.
"It was so much fun! Im so happy i joined, thank you!" I say, slightly bowing to her.

"Awe," she chuckles, ruffling my hair. (Why has everyone been doing that to me today?) "It was my pleasure." I smile and grab my stuff.
"At tomorrows practice, coach will be here and we can get you your managers uniform," Yukie tells me. I nod.

"May i ask, why wasn't he here today?" i ask.
"Oh, coach was taking a sick day today," she laughs. "I apologize for not telling you before practice started."
"No its okay!" I tell her. She smiles.

"Well, i better get going," Yukie says. "See you tomorrow!"
"See you!" I say, waving at her as she walks away.

Now I need to wait for the guys to finish getting changed so I can head home as well.
