Chapter 27

sarah and akaashi walked in to the school grounds side by side, both bundled up in their hats, coats, and gloves.

it was very cold that day, small snowflakes fell from the milky sky but the ground still wasn't cold enough to hold the flakes.

sarah exhaled, watching her breath float away.

today was the day the classes would start planning for the cultural festival.

sarah was excited to plan with her new friends and classmates.

this year was going to be fun.

sarah enters the classroom just as the bell sounds.

she waves to myou as she sits down, who waves back.

"class, today we will be planning for the cultural fest!" their teacher walks to the front of the room.

the class erupts in loud cheers, sarah just giggling at their actions.

"alright, alright, settle down," she calms them down. "so i dont think we'd all be able to plan this out together, so we're going to nominate students that you feel represent you to be in the committee."

the class nods, agreeing with the idea.

"okay, i have a box at the front here. i want you all to write your name at the top and then the person your nominating at the bottom, okay? the people with more than three nominations will be apart of the comitee!"

the class became silent, the sounds of pen against paper filling the room.

slowly one by one, classmates went up to the front of the room to put their votes in the box.

finally, everyone in the class had put a vote in.

"okay, now i will pull them out in front of you and tally the nominations on the board. then as a class we'll come up with some ideas for the committee to think about. lets get started!"

the first three papers that were pulled had the name hamamura kaito.

"hamamura kaito is our first nominee!"

the next names includes two akaashi's, some other names, and surprisingly for her, two sarah's.

the next name pulled was akaashi's third nomination.

"akaashi keiji is our third nominee!"

after a couple more nominations, it was time for the last pull. there were already 5 nominees pulled, none of them being sarah. she didnt expect to be nominated three times because she was new and was pretty surprised by the first two.

the class drum rolled against their desks, waiting for the last name to be pulled.

"and our 6th and last nominee is..." their teacher exclamed, meaning it was someones third draw. everyone was on the edge of their seats, especially myou who had already had two nominations.

"sarah tenshi!"

sarah and myou gasped.

the class erupted into cheers, congratulating the trusted 6 who had been nominated to plan their classes booth.

sarah didnt expect that she would be on the planning committee, but she was deeply honoured to be trusted enough by 3 people.

the class began listing off ideas for the cultural festival, such as a cross dressing cafe, a skit, a haunted house, and a dance performance.

sarah wasn't really paying, instead zoning out thinking about how fun it would be to plan the classes idea.

she loved the idea of a cross dressing cafe, but it would probably be popular among other classes.

a haunted house seemed pretty cool and original. sarah was sure bokuto would love that.

before they all knew it, the class was over and it was time for lunch.

sarah bolted out of the classroom and headed for the cafeteria, excited to tell suki and bokuto that people actually nominated her for the planning committee.
