Appearing in front of the Commission, she caught herself from stumbling and dusted off her shorts. Grabbing her leather gloves from her other hand, she started putting them on while walking up to the doors. Moving her fingers around to make sure the gloves were on her hands nicely, she grabbed the door handle and pushed open the door. Walking in the building, everyone's head snapped towards her and they slowed down. Of course, she scoffed to herself in her head, not being able to actually scoff out loud. Though, she most definitely wanted to.

Ignoring everyone, she started walking over to the stairs. Not bothering to try and shove past people, she walked through the opening people had already made for her. It was still another perk of being her daughter and everyone fearing her, but it was still annoying as hell. Ignoring her thoughts, she raced up the stairs quickly so she could get to her mother's office.

Again, she didn't have to worry about shoving past anyone. They were already out of the way. Of course they had made an opening going straight to her mother's office. Everyone knew that that's where she was headed to.

Getting to the door, everyone was still staring at her. She scoffed, annoyed. Everyone seemed to get the idea as she had scoffed, they all looked away in fear. Rolling her eyes, she twisted the door knob and swung open the door. She walked inside the room and waved to her mother. "Sup," she said, pushing the door closed with one hand.

Her mother, sitting in her chair at the desk, looked up and raised an eyebrow. "What have I told you about being proper?" she asked, putting the pen that was in her hand down so she could straighten her posture up.

Y/n shrugged, walking over to her mother's desk before sitting down in the chair. "'One must be extremely proper. Do not step out of line, it will not work out in your favor.'" Y/n recited, readjusting her posture so that it was more like her mother's.

A small smile spread across her mother's face. Though, it vanished as soon as it had appeared. "That is correct, Darling," she stated, picking her pen up again. "Now, why are you late? When Dot told me an hour and a half ago that you had left to shower, I thought you would surely be back in half an hour."

Y/n shrugged, "I'm fashionably late."

"You cleaned up nicely," her mother said, not looking up from the paper in front of her. Y/n scoffed. shaking her head.

As she started to write something down on a piece of paper, Y/n looked at the format of the paper. She sighed boredly, picking up her mothers name plate on her desk to examine it. The Handler. "Another kill order?"

The Handler looked up, "Put that down. And for heavens sake, clean your fingerprints off of it." Pulling open one of the side drawers of the desk and pulled out a handkerchief, handing it to Y/n. Taking it, Y/n scrubbed at the name plate. "Easy," her mother said sternly. "Those are hard to make." Y/n bit back an eye roll, scrubbing at the plate softer. The Handler clicked the pen, closing the ink off, and put it in a cup full of pens that sat on the desk. She picked up a folder and opened it, placing the kill order in the folder before closing it and putting it off to the side. "And, yes, it is another kill order."

Y/n set the name plate back on the desk and moved it carefully, making sure it was straight and lined up before handing the handkerchief back to her mother. "For who?" she asked as the Handler took the handkerchief from her and started folding it nicely.

"It's not of importance at the moment," she started, putting the handkerchief back in the drawer. Grabbing out a different folder from the same drawer, she put it down on the desk and closed the drawer. She turned back to her daughter. "This," she pointed at the folder that she had just sat down on the desk, "is your new mission."
