"Nat!" I run into Natasha's arms as I enter the room in the Avenger's Facility with Steve.

"Mae!" She holds me tight. "You look amazing for a college grad."

"I had to pass the time somehow," I chuckle as I pull away from her.

"And Columbia?" She smiles

"I know," I return her smile with one of my own.

"Hey, remember me?" Scott waves his hand as he stands to my right. "Ant-Man?"

"Listen, tiny man," I stalk towards him as if he is my prey, pointing my index finger at him. "If you get my hopes up with this time machine shit," His back hits the table, not able to back away from me anymore. "I'll kick your ass so hard that you'll wish you never escaped the quantum realm."

"Noted," He scaredly nods.

"Good," I innocently smile at him before stepping back. "Nice to see you again."

"You too," He forces a smile, obviously still feeling threatened.

"Maeve," I look at Natasha as she says my name. "We need you to help us get him."

"Thor?" I ask, scrunching my eyebrows together.

"No," Steve says, and I know exactly who he is talking about by his face.

I get out of Steve's Audi e-Tron car after we pull up to the wooden two-story house on the lake. I am glad Natasha let me borrow a pair of dark jeans and a black blouse because I really needed to get out of that damn dress. I stare in astonishment as Tony carries a girl around the age of five up the stairs to the house before letting her go inside.

I find myself looking at Steve as the thought of children comes to mind. But I quickly look away as that will never happen. We aren't together anymore and we have a war to finish. Plus, there is a high chance of us all getting killed in the process of saving the universe.

I take the glass of water from Tony as we all stand on the balcony. Scott had explained his theory of traveling through the quantum realm to go back before Thanos. We all remained quiet as Tony listened carefully.

"We know what it sounds like," Scott says as I stare closely at Tony.

"Tony, after everything you've seen, is anything really impossible?" Steve asks the old Iron Man.

"Quantum fluctuation messes with the Planck scale," Tony begins. "Which then triggers the Deutsch Proposition. We won't come home."

"We don't have homes anymore," Natasha tells him.

"I do," Tony looks at the house and I can tell he is thinking about his wife and kid in there.

"We can go back and get the stones in the past," Steve says.

"You're still optimistic," Tony observes before looking at my stern facial expression. "I'm guessing you're still pessimistic? Great combo."

"Tony-"

"I know, I know," Tony interrupts Steve and sits down on a wooden chair. "You two didn't last and she went on to graduate from Columbia University. How exciting."

"I lost someone," Scott tells Tony after the few moments of silence that followed Tony's words. "We all did. We have a chance to bring them all back and you won't even-"

"That's right," Tony interrupts him. "I won't even."

"Mommy told me to come and save you," Tony's daughter appears and jumps into her father's arms.
