"Cut!" called the director. You were offstage as well, as you had filmed this morning. Still, you wanted to stick around. After all, you were shooting your first real movie, and the process was exciting. That and you had a huge crush on the star of the movie, Helena Bonham Carter. You had liked her ever since you were a kid watching her kill people in Harry Potter. Now, you were 26, graduated from college with an acting degree, and playing a maid to Helena's character, which you couldn't be more thrilled about. Her character was a wealthy matriarch, abused by her husband and trying to leave him. Anyway, now, you watched her slip out of character with ease, and go over to get a drink of water. She laughed at something her co-star said, which made you feel all warm inside. Oh god, I sound like a freaking Hallmark movie, you think. But you couldn't help it, her smile was infectious.
About a quarter of an hour later, you're walking out of the set to go home, when you hear a voice call your name. You know who it is before you turn around, and you feel like your heart is stopping. Oh my god, she's talking to me. Stay clam. STAY FUCKING CALM. Ok, ok, deep breath. AHHHHHH. Ok, calm down. Deep breath. You actually listen to your inner voice and take a deep breath, which helps until you turn around to look at her.
"Hi Helena," you say, trying to maintain composure, "what's up? You were great today, by the way". Ah, stop fangirling!!!
"Thanks, y/n! I wanted to talk to you about our scene tomorrow". The scene in reference is the final breaking point of her character. Your character is bringing her tea, then she completely breaks down. She throws the platter and the teacups at your head, screaming at you, taking out all her anger. Your character runs out, then hers gets on the ground and sobs.
"Yeah it's an intense scene," you respond.
"It is. And of course, I'm the type of actress that'll do anything for a role, but I never want it to get in the way of real life. I always feel bad when a character I play has to hurt someone. Anyway, I was hoping you would go to dinner with me tomorrow night. I just want to make sure we can remain friends," she tells you, then smiles. OMG. She asked you to dinner!!!! And considers you friends!!!! Geez okay, I'm dying I'm literally in Heaven.
"Of course, I'd love to!" you say, taking another breath.
"Great! See you tomorrow?"
"Yep! Tomorrow!" you croak out. She smiled and walked out. You stayed planted to the ground, watching her go, filled with pure joy.Authors Note: Hi, welcome to my new story! It's shorter than my other chapters in other stories, but I'm still really trying to figure out the plot. Anyway, I hope you like this!
