You hardly slept that night. You couldn't stop replaying the whole scene in your head: the look on Helena's face when she saw the pictures, the sadness in her voice even while she was yelling, and worst of all, the way she slammed the door when she left you. You desperately tried to think of things other than the way she walked down the hall of your apartment building, walking out of your sight.

You also couldn't sleep that night because you just couldn't sleep alone anymore. You missed the way she would hold you close in her arms. As she held you, you would listen to her heartbeat until you fell asleep. You felt safe and protected in her arms. Still, crying must have worn you out, because you evidently slept for a little bit. Once you woke up, you rolled over and saw it was a little after 9.

You checked your phone right away to make sure you didn't miss a call from Helena. She didn't call yet, but since you were on your phone, you blocked Rachel. Without your girlfriend, you had no idea how to spend your day. You didn't want to go out because you weren't up for it, so you just decided to binge some TV until she called.

Don't watch something with her, you urged yourself as you browsed Netflix. Against your better judgment, you put on season 3 of The Crown. You freaked out every time she came on screen, which you had always done, long before you dated. Now, it was painful to watch her. She was so beautiful, and you were so mad at yourself for fucking things up.

You ordered food to your apartment, even though you didn't have much of an appetite. After watching hours more of the show, your phone started ringing. You answered it as quickly as possible, seeing it was Helena calling you.

"Hellie, hi," you answered excitedly.
"Hullo. Are you busy?" she asked.
"Absolutely not," you told her.
"Can we talk? I'm staying at The Plaza. We could sit and have tea".
"Of course. I'll be right over".

You hailed a cab to take you to the hotel. Once you got there, you went right to the cafe on the first floor. You saw your girlfriend sitting at a table, and you felt your heart swell at the sight of her. She smiled as you sat down across from her.

"I know it's been less than a day, but I really missed you," you said.
"Yeah, I missed you too," she admitted.
"You did?"
"Of course I did. But y/n, we need to talk about this," she added seriously.
"Helena, I never asked Rachel for those. I never did anything to lead her on. I told her that I'm in love with you. I love you more than anything and I'd never meant to hurt you".

"I trust you. I really do. I was just shocked, that's all," she explained.
"I understand. I was shocked, too".
"I just didn't expect drama. Not with you," she said, her voice defeated.
"I'm so sorry. I swear, my life is never dramatic. Yesterday was just crazy".

"Do you have any other horny exes I might have to worry about?" she asked, a small smile on her lips. Despite yourself, you had to laugh.
"Nope, she's it. She's actually my only ex unless if you count a week-long relationship I had in high school," you joked.
"Really? I would have thought someone as pretty as you would have had more".
You smiled. "I'm very specific with the people I like".
"Well, I'm glad I make the cut," she said, taking your hand.

You giggled. "Of course you do". You squeezed her hand back, grateful for the chance to touch her again.
"You know, I couldn't sleep last night. I called you so late because I've been trying to nap. I had to snuggle a pillow and pretend it was you. Pathetic, really," she admitted.
"I couldn't sleep either! I'm so used to hearing your heartbeat as I fall asleep. I didn't feel safe without you holding me".
She smiled. "I don't think we'll ever have to worry about that again. Unless if one of us has to travel".

"So how's your room. Does The Plaza deserve all the hype?" you asked.
"Do you want to check it out? I still have the room for another hour".
"Are you inviting me back to your hotel room?" you teased with a smirk.
"Baby, it was a rough night without you," she whispered, making you blush.

You left the restaurant and as you were walking to the elevator to take you up from the ground floor, you saw paparazzi outside the glass doors of the hotel.
"Look," you tapped your girlfriend on the shoulder so she looked.
She waved at them, then turned back to you.
"I hope they don't suspect we had a fight since you came here alone. I don't usually care about what people think, but we're so good together and I want people to know that," she told you, steering you towards the elevator.
"I'm sure they do, we're always cute," you said lovingly.

"This is it. What do you think, worth the hype?" she asked once you got in the hotel room.
"Hmm, I can't judge yet".
"Why not?" she wrapped her arms around your body, pulling you close to her.
"I think we need to test out the bed," you teased in your most serious tone.
She giggled. "Do we?"
You nodded, then planted a kiss on her lips.

She pulled you as close as she could, her hands tight around your body. You wrapped your arms around her neck, kissing her deeply. She pushed you up against the bed, kissing you like your lips were her oxygen. You were about to get down on the bed, when she broke away.

"What's wrong?" you asked. She gave you a quick kiss to show you that nothing was wrong, then dragged her lip up to your ear.
"I want you to undress for me," she whispered. She stepped back, giving you space. With her, you didn't feel uncomfortable at all as you slowly undressed. Her brown eyes scanned your body. Once you were done, you moved your hand down to touch yourself, but she walked back over to you and took your hand, putting it on her waist.
"Only I can touch you, dear," she told you, touching the curves of your body, "my beautiful girl".

You blushed at her compliment. "Get on the bed," she instructed. You sat on the bed, waiting for her. She took her own clothes off, leaving on only her panties. She got on the bed with you, pushing you down by your shoulders and straddling your waist.
"I missed this," she said, stroking your hair and putting it behind your ear.
"So did I," you agreed, smiling.

She kissed you again, cupping your face in her hands. She kissed you down your body, each feather light touch of her lips pleasing your body. She kissed your heat, which was throbbing for her touch, before entering her tongue inside of you.
"Oh Hellie," you moaned as the electricity of pleasure shot through your body.

She smirked. "I'm the only one who makes you feel like that, isn't that right?" she teased, rubbing your clit.
"Yes," you managed to moan out.
"Good girl," she praised. She licked your clit again, the moved her tongue in deeper. You arched your back, unable to stop moaning out her name. She moved her hands up to rub your inner thighs.

Her movements got faster, pushing you to the edge. She kissed you, fingering you through your high. She laid down next to you once you finished, and you finally snuggled into her chest, what you had been wanting to do since your fight.
"I hate fighting, but we do have amazing make up sex, don't we?" she commented.
You laughed. "We always do".
"True, we should just skip the fighting next time," she joked.
"Good plan," you agreed, taking her hand in yours.
