It was two days after the movie premiere. Honestly, you had forgotten about yesterday, since you were hungover and tired. After the event, you went home and Helena kept you up for hours...not that you had any complaints.

Currently, you woke up, turning over to look at Helena. You knew you should probably be productive today since you did nothing yesterday, but you figured it couldn't hurt to lay in bed a bit.

You played with her hair softly, trying not to wake her up. She looked relaxed, and the sunlight streaming through the window made her skin glow.

She started moving, and then she yawned.
"Good morning," she said, turning towards you. Her gravelly morning voice sent butterflies in your stomach.

"Did I wake you?" you asked, and she shook her head, stretching. She snuggled into your chest, and you played with her hair again.

After a few moments of comfortable silence, she turned around and kissed you. You kissed her back eagerly, she held onto your shoulders to pin you against the back of the bed.

She straddled your lap, cupping your face in her hands and kissing you harder. She moved down to kiss your neck, and you let out a moan.
"You like that, baby girl?" she asked, sending butterflies in your stomach.

She started sucking at your neck and giving you some soft bites.
"Fuck Hellie, right there," you encouraged as she found your spot. You felt her smirk against your skin. You put your hands in her hair, scratching your scalp.

She moved her hands down to the straps of your shirt, letting the straps fall down your arms. She was about to pull it off when your phone rang.

"Damnit," you said, annoyed. She got off your lap, sitting next to you with a pout.
"Sorry, sorry. I'll be one second," you told her, picking up your phone.

Checking caller id, you realized it was your agent, Jane. You quickly fixed your shirt and answered the call.
"Oh good, I thought you weren't picking up," she said, her voice hyper.
"No, I'm here. What's up?" you asked. Hellie looked at you as if asking you what was going on, and you just shrugged. You had to stifle a laugh because of how messy her hair was.

"You got the part!!" Jane yelled.
"I-what?"
"For the main character role in the movie City Living. The one you went to New York to audition for" she explained. You rolled your eyes because you very much knew which part she was referring to.

"Yeah, I know. I just can't believe I got it".
"I'm very proud, congratulations. I'll email you a script and all the other details. You have two weeks to get everything in order, then you'll be in New York filming for three months, including reshoots".
"Wait, so do I have to live there?" you asked.
"Ideally, yes. You're the main character, so you have to work most days," she explained. This didn't even occur to you before.

You hung up with her, then turned back to Helena.
"Well?" she asked in anticipation.
"You're looking at the star of City Living!" you told her excitedly. You would worry about the living situation later, right now you just wanted to enjoy your accomplishment.

"Yes, I knew it!" she said happily, rushing up out of bed and walking over to hug you. She was warm against you, and you snuggled into her neck. You breathed her in and sighed. How could I leave her for 3 months, you thought.

She pulled away and kissed your lips softly.
"Tell me everything," she said. She wrapped her hands around your waist, looking you in the eye.
"Um, Jane said she'll email me the details," you told her after some hesitation. Still, she was smart and she knew something was wrong.

"She must have told you something," she insisted.
"I have a few weeks before I have to go," you told her.
"Anything else?"
"Um," you took a deep breath, "I have to move to New York for three months when we film".

You looked up, looking her in the eyes, but her reaction wasn't what you thought.
"Of course you do," she said breezily.
"Wait, what?" you asked.
"You're the lead. There's no way you would fly back and forth".

"Um... I'll miss you," you said, still confused.
She laughed. "I'll come with you if you want".
"Really?" you asked, another thought that hadn't occurred to you.
"Sure, why would I stay here when the woman I love is halfway across the world," she told you, brushing your hair back.
"Hellie, do you want to make me cry?" you teased. She laughed again, shaking her head.

You got your laptop and went over to the bed, spending time looking at apartments.
"This one?" you suggested, pointing to the screen. You were snuggling into her body, practically laying on her.
"Darling, look how run down this place is," she said, scrolling so you could see more pictures. She had a point.

"Yeah, but I don't get my paycheck until after shooting. Plus, the money I got from our film is hardly enough for an apartment in the heart of New York City".
"I'll happily chip in some money," she told you.
"Thank you, but I'll probably end up living there after shooting".
"What do you mean?" she asked, brow wrinkling in concern.
"You said I could stay here while we were filming our movie. I overstayed that welcome," you reasoned.

"Didn't things change when we started dating?"
"Not that I know of".
"So you're just leaving?" she asked.
"Well, I don't want to but I have a place in New York and you haven't asked me to live with you permanently," you explained, your voice rising.

"I thought it was assumed," she said.
"That's not the kind of thing that people just assume," you said bluntly.
"I'm sorry I didn't know you needed an engraved invitation," she snapped.
"A heads up would have been nice," you retorted.
You could have assumed!" she yelled, "Now that you're a lead actress you need a big show".
"Helena!" you yelled, "I'm getting out of here".
"Fine," she yelled, and you gathered your things and walked out.

Authors note: sorry you'll make up next time don't worry

Also, I think I should drop out of school because my film teacher has the audacity to not like HBC...right? Do you support?
