"Read this," you said to Helena, trying to keep your cool. You were reading a tabloid, a habit you picked up when you were a teenager and couldn't stop doing even now that you were actually featured in some of them. Right now, you were reading a page that had a bunch of pictures of different celebrities walking, each with a caption. There was a picture of you and Helena walking home from work and the caption said "Helena Bonham Carter and costar/friend y/n getting some fresh air after work". Yes, the caption was super cringy, but that wasn't the thing that bothered you. Helena came over to read it.
"Have you ever had problems like this? You've actually dated women before".
"Yes but none of them were actually in magazines," you say with a laugh.
"Oh right. Well whenever I look at a man magazines automatically assume we're either sleeping together or secretly married," you could tell that annoyed her.
"That sucks. I wish it was the same with us," you complain. You can tell a thought strikes her, and she gives you a sly smile. She walks closer to you, and sits on your lap, straddling you. She did that a lot now, knowing how much you loved it.
"What's that look like?" you asked her, smiling and taking her hand.
"We should give the press something they can't ignore. Give them a little show, if you know what I mean," she said.
"Really?"
"Yeah, let's do it. We can go out shopping later. I was thinking it's about time we go to my designer to get dresses for our movie premiere".
"How does that work?"
"They're custom, so for the most part we pick out what we want. And you know how the paparazzi follow me everywhere. We kiss in front of them, problem solved". Smiling, she leaned down to kiss you. Her lips were warm against yours, and she teased yours open with the tip of her tongue. Once you opened your mouth, she kissed you harder, her body slowly moving against your lap. You moaned, then moved your hands behind her neck, pulling her as close as possible. As she kissed you, her hands played with your hair, gently curling it on her finger.
"Well," she said after a moment, "we should get going".
"Hellie! Don't tease me like that," you complained.

A little while later, you were walking down the street. You were right about paparazzi taking pictures of huge stars doing literally anything, and soon a small crowd gathered.
"They have no idea what's about to happen," she says as she waved to them through gritted teeth.
"Shits about to go down," you joke, and she smiles and takes your hand. You walk a little while longer, until you finally get to the store.

"Helena, hi dear," said a perky woman the moment you walked in the store. You assumed she was the designer.
"Hi, it's been too long," she said, giving the woman a hug, "I want to introduce my girlfriend, y/n". The women size you up, making you self conscious, before smiling and pulling you into a hug.
"You better be good to her. She's an angel," she warned you.
"I know she is," you said, looking over at Helena and smiling. The designer led you and Helena over to a table with notebooks, pens, and all kinds of swatches of fabrics.
"You first, Helena," she said, pulling out a notebook. You zoned out a tiny bit, watching your girlfriend talking about what she wanted. After a little bit, the dress was sketched out on paper. She decided she wanted it navy blue, it was sparkly and it had a pretty mesh skirt to it.
"You'll look stunning," you tell her, snuggling your head into the crook of her neck.
"Thank you, my love," she said, kissing the top of your head. The designer took you off to take your measurements, then put some swatches against your skin.
"What would you think about a deep green?" she asked. You nodded, and she began to sketch you a mermaid style dress.
"That's gorgeous!" you exclaim. It's like she knows what kind of dress you wanted before you even said anything.
My god, you'll look even more gorgeous than usual," your girlfriend said.

You finished at the shop, then left. You started walking, and already you could see a few flashing cameras. Helena waved quickly, then turned back to you.
"They're all looking at us," she said, her eyes alight.
"You're positive you want to do this?"
"Baby, I don't want to hide anything. Of course I'm sure. We're the real deal," she told you, making you blush. She casually put her finger underneath your chin, lifting your head up so your eyes met her. Her eyes searched yours for a moment, then she pressed her lips on yours. Her lips were soft, yet aggressive as they pushed against yours. You kissed her back, not with tongue but passionately. You felt yourself escape, and you were rudely pulled back to earth at the rapid sound of cameras. You rolled your eyes, annoyed, even though you knew that would happen. There was a bit of a crowd around you, people yelling your girlfriend's name to get her attention.
"I just want to say this once," she began, like the badass she was, "y/n and I are dating. We met on set, and we got together almost a month ago. We're very happy, I have feelings for her". She smiled and looked at you.
