A boy stepped into the lab. Curly brown hair, tall-ish. He was conventionally attractive, like a teenager in a target commercial.
"Is this a bad time?" He asked.
"No, not at all," My dad said, brushing himself off as he stood, "An intern got excited."
I offered a soft smile at the boy, "I'm the intern in question."
The boy chuckled, "Does the intern have a name?" He asked.
"Jasmine," My dad replied.
"Peter," the boy told me.
"Nice to meet you, Peter," I told him.
"Alright, alright. Thats enough socializing, Jas. Head back to the office."
"Yes, sir," I told my dad, miming a salute, "Talk to you later, Peter," I said as I brushed past him.
As I was shutting the door, I heard my dad say "Don't even think about it."
I chuckled to myself as I went back to my lab, then decided to do some research on the boy.
As it turns out, he's a high school student, my age, at midtown school of science and technology. He used to be in marching band and is active in academic decathlon.
Not the type of guy I was expecting with a face and body like...that.
What? I wasn't looking THAT much! I just noticed. You can't blame a girl for noticing!
