Ambar POV

I sit in the bed of the guestroom shuffling through Netflix on the TV screen trying to find something to watch.

"Ambar... Should I get you dinner?" Mom asks walking in and I shake my head.

"I'll wait for Samayra." I say and she nods.

"Okay, I'll keep it in an oven safe container, so she can reheat. We are starting with dinner, soon." She says and I nod.

"Okay, but is Chetan here?" I ask and she shakes her head.

"No, He went out with his friends and told Lily to not cook for him." She says and I give her an encouraging smile.

"I'll talk to him tomorrow." I say and she nods walking out in silence. Something's up with the douche, since I returned home this noon, but what?

And where's Samayra? I had talked to Avinash on call and he said that they were done before 4pm. It's 8:30pm and she's not home yet.

Should I call her and ask, what's taking so long?

No, she needs to spend some time with her mom and dad. She has been so involved with me, my family and has juggled between home, work and hospital that she barely even called her parents.

I pick up the remote and start shuffling through Netflix until my eyes land on the very beautiful Tessa Thompson on the poster of Men in Black: International, along with Chris Hemsworth.

That's what we are watching... or not. My hands go to surf further finding the other option, I was looking for.

I'm surely watching Tessa Thompson, now it's either in Thor ragnarok or Men in black.

"Thor: Ragnarok." I hear a voice and turn to look at my wife walking in with a purse in her one hand which she keeps on the couch and goes around the bed on her side and crawls up, and then forward keeping her head, gently in my lap. She had slid on, so safely trying to avoid touching or straining my sutures. She took a deep breath inhaling the hospital scent, from my body that hadn't showered for a fortnight and put her arms gently around me.

I could tell she was exhausted and Avinash had told me everything and forwarded Sabina's official statement and I wanted to punch the living daylights out of Karan, when I'm well. Even though Avinash already did it once.

Now all I wanted to know was, if Samayra wants to talk about Sabina or completely divert her mind away from it.

"What's wrong?" I ask brushing my fingers through her unruly hair. She turns her head in my lap to look up in my eyes and speaks with a very straight face.
