Chapter 2. Sisters, brothers and dogs at rehearsal

Finn, Piper and Aurora are the only ones in the house, the other kids are at school, and since Finn and Aurora go to the same school and their school have Friday's off, they're left in the house. Aurora is sleeping in her room, half because her brother is making out with his girlfriend, and half because she's still tired. In Finn's room, he has Piper on his lap, lip locked with her. Piper pulls back slightly, lips still against Finn's, the curly hair groans before the brunet could speak, "We should probably get to rehearsal buba." Piper said playing with her boyfriend's hair, even though she's pregnant, she still goes to rehearsal to see her team. "We can be late once baby." Finn muttered in between kisses, "Your always late." "Not since you've lived here." Finn replied, "Exactly, and I'm still living here so we're not gonna be late." "Just a few more minutes." Finn mutters, Piper laughs then they're lips re connect and their kissing passionately. Half way through this make out session they hear a scream, "What was that?" Piper asked worriedly as soon as they broke the kiss, "Aurora, Rory!" Finn exclaims as he gently pushes Piper of him to go to his little sister. Finn opened the door open to see Aurora crying and screaming on her bed, "Finn, Finn I need you!" "Rory I'm right here!" Finn yells so she can hear,going to sit on her bed to comfort her, she pushes him of, bringing Finn's memories back but he still goes to protect her. "Rory, I'm here, I'm here. It's okay, it's okay." Finn exclaims as he goes to hug her, Rory cries into his chest. "hey, hey, it's okay, it was just a dream. You have not gone back there, you live here with me, Hannah, Blake, Ash, Lyra and Brynn and David. And now Pipes as well. And we all love you very much, and we're here, we're here and we're not going anywhere." Finn says gently rubbing her back, calming her down. Aurora takes her head out of her brother's chest, Finn's face falls even more when he sees her stained cheeks from crying, "Aurora, hey listen to me, your safe now okay?" Aurora nods, and then asks, "Can - can I go to rehearsals with you and Piper please, you know how I feel about staying at home on my own." "You can come, I can even ask Nick if you can dance with us but no promises okay? we'll let him and Emily know on the way."

When Aurora calmed her self down, the three, well four including Oscar the dog, get ready to go to The Next Step, "Finn, we should probably bring some food for Oscar." "That's actually a good idea." Finn agrees with Piper because rehearsals last a good few hours on a Friday, Piper gets the bag and her dog and head out. When the three entered studio A, Piper and Finn's hands interlocked, Aurora walking Oscar, when the team see who's arrived, Ozzy asked, "Wow, you gave birth already?" Finn rolls his eyes, "No, this is my little sister Aurora." Finn introduces her to everyone. Oscar starts barking like crazy and Piper gets confused, "I saw a fact that when dogs bark like that, they sense a ghost." Henry says, Piper and Aurora are now sitting on the bench next to the office, Piper laughs, "You just basically said this place is haunted." Piper said, Henry does a nervous laugh, "I hope I'm wrong and can he calm down because I really hope I'm wrong." Henry says and the team laughs, Piper manages to get Oscar calm and Aurora whispers to Piper, "Looks like the ghost went out of the room." Piper laughed quietly. The team are on break and Piper hasn't moved from the bench, Amy came to join her to catch up, whilst Aurora is playing with Oscar on the dance floor, "How's the pregnancy going?" Amy asks her best friend, "It's going good, apart from my parents showing up at Finn's at the beginning of the week. They eventually left with the help of Lyra and Brynn but,I'm scared their gonna come back." Piper says, "Piper, they're not gonna come back okay?" "I know but what if they do and this time they know I'm there and they take me and -" Amy cuts her of by putting her hands on her best friend's , "Breathe, just breathe." Amy says softly, she hasn't seen Piper panic in a while, "They're not gonna come back and they're not going to take you away, I promise." "How do I know your promising when you can't read their minds." "Piper, stop! Just listen to me and believe me in what I'm saying!" Amy exclaims making Rory look at the two, "Okay fine, I will." Piper says, "Hey sorry to interrupt but could you hold Oscar for a minute please? I wanna try something." Aurora says calmly, "Of course-" Piper says and takes her dog in her arms and puts him in her lap, (his favorite place to sit) "What do you wanna try?" Piper asks, "Something I haven't done in a very long time." Rory answers, but then adds, "Ooo could you put the song 'new' by Daya on please?" She asks politely, "Sure!" A few seconds after Piper starts the music, she sees Rory dancing, beautifully. You can tell the dance is about her story of what she's been through, Aurora had to stop dance because her body just couldn't handle it, she would get abuse so much that one day after dance she fainted, she was just so tired of it. She feels amazing dancing in this studio though, no flash backs, no pains, just, pure happiness. Finn enters the double doors with Henry and first immediately thinks it's Piper dancing, but then realizes that it's his sister, and he smiles widely because of how amazing she is. When the dance finished, Piper exclaimed, "Aurora that was beautiful!" "Thank you!" Rory said out of breath, "Ror I thought you said you stopped dancing. No pains?" Since Finn and Aurora are the closest out of the family, hence Finn's nickname for her, they know basically everything about each other, "No, no pains. Just happiness." She answers truthfully to her brother and Finn hugs her tight.

A few hours later Piper's packing an over night bag for James and Riley's, she doesn't want to stop going there on the weekends. Finn walks in and hugs her from behind, making her jump a little. He starts kissing her neck and shoulder, Finn, I gotta finish packing." "But why, you live here now." Piper turns and puts her arms around her boyfriend's neck, "I know but, I love it at James and Riley's, not that I don't love it here. Living here's been amazing and I'll be back before you know it." Her fingers get lost in his blonde curly hair, Finn sighs before speaking, "But I'm just going to miss you and our baby so much baby." Finn kisses his girlfriend deeply for a few moments, Piper pulls back suddenly and speaks, "I know buba and I'm going to miss you a lot but hey look, James says you can come to the baby appointments. I'm pretty sure we're finding out the gender either today or at the next appointment." "Oh great so I can't even go to our baby appointments with out the uncle's say in it." Finn says annoyed, Piper kisses him to calm him down, which obviously works, "Look Finn, I love you okay, and this family -" Piper gets cut of by her boyfriend, "Have you even told him your living here yet?" "What? Of course I have! He just doesn't believe me and accuses me of lying and saying he thinks I still sleep under the stair case!" Piper exclaims, almost shouting, "Then I'll bring Aurora with us so he'll believe you!" Finn demands more then suggest, "I'm leaving in 10 minutes, she won't be ready, she just got back from being-" Finn then suddenly takes his hands of off Piper and leaves the room, Piper sighs stressfully when putting her hands over her head. Finn opens the door to Rory's room, "Aurora, you ready to go?" An excitement feeling comes in side of her, "Go where?" "Piper and I's baby appointment." "Okay, yay!" Rory then puts her shoes back on, Finn then re appears and says, "Oh and you'll be meeting her brother and her brother's girlfriend."

Finn stopped the car outside of the hospital, seeing James and Riley waiting for them. "You ready?" Finn asks his girlfriend turning to her, "Yeah." Piper replies squeezing Finn's hand, "Rory, you ready?" Finn asks his little sister who's in the back seat, "Yeah, I'm ready." She answers. James hears car doors shutting and look up, "Hey, they're here." He says to Riley, and then notices a third person. "Hey, you good." James asks his little sister as he hugs her, "Yeah, I'm good." Piper replies, when she pull out of the hug she introduces Aurora to her brother and Riley.
"Is the baby okay?" Piper asks worriedly whilst holding Finn's hand, "You ask this every time you come in and the answer is always yes." The doctor smiles, the doctor, Piper and Finn were assigned to happened to be Piper's old therapist, a soft smile when she hears the doctor's answer, Piper's sat in the hospital bed and Finn as close to her as he can be with being on the chair to her left, "Can we figure out the gender get?" Finn asks, "Yes we can, but do you guys want to know or do you want to wait?" "Up to you Pipes." Is Finn's response, but then James cuts in. "How about just me and Riley find out?and then we can throw the best baby shower on your birthday." "Why on my birthday?" Piper asks, "So then you get even more surprises." James answers happily, "Okay, yeah I like that, Finn?" "It's up to you and if you think that's a good idea then so I do Pipes." Finn answered sweetly, pecking Piper lips, "Okay so do you guys want to leave the room and then I'll tell your brother the gender?" Doctor Sam says, Piper, Finn and Aurora leave the room so Sam could reveal the gender.
