Chapter 5. baby moments

"I need to call him..." Piper says to her sister, "What, Piper no." "Why not?" Piper asks Leah, "Because you guys broke up -" "But he's the father of my-" before Piper could finish her sentence, she a strange movement in her stomach, her eyes shoot down to her stomach, "Piper?" Piper ignores Leah as she focuses on her stomach. she examines it with her hands, feeling the same weird but amazing, feeling. "Hey, how's it going?" James asks coming down the stairs, "I don't know." Leah says, "but I thought-" James started, but then looks to his baby sister, "No everything's fine with us but." Leah points to Piper still examining her stomach, James looks at Leah worriedly, "Pipes?" Piper looked up to her siblings but then back to her un born baby, "I think the baby kicked but I'm not sure." Piper finally says, smiles come across James and Leah's face, "But I need to tell Finn but Leah isn't letting me!" Piper exclaims, "Yeah because you said that before the baby kicked." "It's been two months, of course I'm going to miss him, he's the love of my life!" Piper exclaims louder.

At Finn's house, him and Aurora managed to patch things up, but only after so much fighting. The family are watching a movie in the family room when Finn gets a call, his eyes widen when he sees who's calling. "Hello?" He asks as he stands up, and leaves the room. "Hi, Finn? Sorry for calling but something happened." Finn immediately starts panicking, "What - is everything okay? What?" Piper can sense the panic in her ex and laughs the cute laughter she does that gets Finn questioning, "What?" "Nothing bad happened Finn, the baby just kicked for the first time and I wanted to tell you." The blonde let's put a deep breathe, "Oh gosh Pipes you had me worried! What does it feel like?" He asks, knowing he'll never be able to get the feeling, "Well, can you come over?" Piper asks softly, "I think so, but why do you want me over?" Finn asks, "Because I miss you, and you are the father of this baby, and I'm really, really, really sorry about shouting and -" "Hey, why are you apologizing? You shouldn't be okay? I'm sorry for saying the things I said, I love you, I really do Pipes, I'm sorry I said I didn't, and for yelling." Piper can hear the disappointment tone in her loved one's voice, "I love you too buba, and I miss you" "I miss you too baby and, I missed hearing you call me that." Piper giggles, Finn eyes his family before saying, "see you in twenty?" "Okay, I love you." Piper says in a sweet tone, "I love you too, oh, umm, where are you by the way?" "That wasn't your first question?" The brunet laughs again, "I missed hearing your voice so I got side tracked, plus I panicked when you said something happened." Piper smiled at that, even though they broke up, he still worries for her. "I'm at James and Riley's, oh and Leah came by." Piper told her, ex? boyfriend? She's not sure now, "Did everything go alright?" Finn asks, "You'll see when you get here."

Finn smiles nervously to him self as he takes his seat belt of, he just got to James and Riley's place, and even though he can't wait to see Piper, he's really, really nervous now. He rings the door bell, to be met with James, "Hi, I'm guessing she called you?" Finn nodded, clearing the lump in his throat, why is he so nervous. He enters the house to see Leah, "Hey!"  She exclaims, "h-hey." "Don't be so nervous, she'll be down in a second." Leah reassures Finn, who nods nervously again. 'How did my whole mood change with in seconds?' He asks himself, his brought of of his thoughts when he hears the cutest, "hey!" from the stairs, he looks up and sees Piper, he smiles, he doesn't walk closer like he would normally, but he isn't as nervous anymore. "Hey." Finn says happily, awkwardness fills the room. Piper gets to about 1 centre meter away before they move closer to each other and crash their lips together, Piper's hands going into Finn's curls. They pull back breathless and Finn speaks, "I'm so sorry for what happened." He mutters against Piper's lips, "Finn, it's okay really, that's in the past and your here how."

"I can't remember the spot but it was somewhere around -" "ooh, was that it?" Piper's on Finn's lap, she has his hand in her's, navigating it to where she felt the kick earlier, Finn felt some kind of movement, "Yeah, that's it, that's our baby buba." The two aren't exactly back together jut yet but, they've been calling each other 'buba' and 'baby' for the past hour. Piper feels the kick before turning to Finn, "So uh, are we-" "It's up to you Pipes, if you want me in your life, I'm here. If you need me just for you, or for the baby as well, I'm here, okay?" "Okay, but I was going to ask are we back together buba?" Piper giggles, "Oh um, do you wanna be?" Finn asks for her approval, Pier nods and a Finn leans in to kiss her. Suddenly, there's a knock at the door that break them apart, "I'll get it, don't worry." James says, eyeing the couple who went back to kissing, Finn can feel her smile against his lips, and Piper can feel his smile against her lips. Lips moving in sync, Finn's hands move from Piper's waist to her stomach, and he gently leaves them there. At the front door, James says a really nervous hi to, Deborah. "Hi, James he isn't with me and I just wanna see my daughter. Is that allowed?" Deborah asks, she's missed Piper, so much, "Umm, I guess but I don't know if she wants to see you." James turns around, his sister is no longer lip locked with her boyfriend, but she's no longer on the couch. "Umm, come in and I'll find her."

Piper knows who was at the door and basically ran up to her room, Finn following her behind. "Pipes, Pipes." he says calmly, taking her hands in his, she takes a deep breaths. "I know, she's my mum and she wasn't as worse as my dad as what he did when he found out I was pregnant but, I don't trust her not to tell him where I am." Finn doesn't speak, he just brings his stressed girlfriend in his arms and she cries silently in his chest. The door opens to see James, Piper wipes her tears and asks, "Has she gone?" the youngest Parker asks, "Umm, Pipes she wants to see you." "What? No, no I - I don't want to see her, I know she's my mum but -" cutting Piper of her ramble, her mum appears next to her brother, "Piper." She says softly but Piper backs up, Finn grabs her hand so she doesn't panic, "Look, dad isn't with me and I promise I won't tell him where you are, I just wanted to see you, is that okay?" Deborah asks her daughter, who to be honest, looks frightened of her mother. Piper shakes her head, "No." she quietly says but her mother hears, "Wha-" "You never stopped dad hitting me all those days ago,you were always out." After finding out she was pregnant, and after her dad basically tried to strangle her, Austin would hit her everyday when he saw her, "I needed to go to work." "But protecting your own daughter wasn't first priority?" Piper asks, "And that was a mistake?" "What I was?" Piper's starting to cry and hold Finn's hand tighter, "No that's not what I meant, I meant not being there to protect you was a mistake!" Deborah exclaims, Piper looks at Finn and then back to her mum, she doesn't want to hurt her baby, and she knows by shouting, it will cause stress, and her doctor has told her, that stress might not be good. "I don't want to see you, your making me stressed and that's not good for our baby." the feeling doesn't go away when Finn squeezes her hand when she said, 'our baby'. "You shouldn't be pregnant at this age! Your 16, you should of listened to your father and orbit and not disobey us!" Deborah screams making Piper wince, "Okay I want you to leave!" Finn exclaims, protecting his girlfriend, "Yeah mum Finn's right, so can you please leave?" James asks, looking at her. "Fine. But just know, you are no longer our daughter!" Deborah exclaims but and leaves. As soon as she's out of sight, Piper collapses to the floor. hearing a thud, he turns to see the scene, "Baby, baby please wake up." He begs, kneeling down so he's level, he kisses her forehead, exams her pulse, she still has a high one, she just fainted but that still scares Finn. "Pipes, baby." Finn says softly, tears starting to stream down his cheeks. With Piper not waking up, he calls for anyone who's still in the house, "James! Leah!Riley! help!" Even more tears leave Finn's eyes before he speaks again, "Baby, baby please wake up." he puts his hand on her stomach, forehead on her's, and he stays like that until the ambulance come.
