Chapter 13. bonding with the town

Piper and Finn are back on the living room floor with Molly a couple days later, with Olivia again. Olivia and Finn have become great friends, and also great friends with Piper, Finn has yet to tell his girlfriend about the kiss. "You wanna meet my friends today?" Olivia asked Piper whilst playing with Molly. "Maybe yeah. It's not that I don't want to meet your friends if that's what your thinking, I'm just anxious around new people." Piper says honestly. "Sorry for asking, I didn't know." "It's okay, don't be sorry." Piper smiled, "Mama!" Molly shouts happily, "Shh baby, daddy's still sleeping." "Dada!" Molly then said, "You wanna wake daddy?" "Yeah!"

Piper and Finn are visiting the school Millie and Iris had contacted for them. "Piper? Finn, are you two ready?" Iris asked from the living room, "Yeah, we're ready!" Piper replied, coming around the corner with Molly on her hip. The car journey was 20 minutes, and when they got there, Piper felt a rush of anxiety, "Finn, can you take her please?" Piper asked her boyfriend when passing Molly to him, "Yeah, you look nervous though, you okay?" Finn asks, "Y-yeah." With that tone, Finn always knows a panic attack is coming. They enter the school, Finn and Piper's hands interlocked, Molly on Finn's left hip, and Mille and Iris telling them what the schools about. Half way through the tour, Piper could feel a panic attack coming on, and Finn being Finn, he knows. "Pipes, Pipes breathe okay? It's gonna be okay, just breathe." "I-I can't." Piper cried, Finn gave his daughter to Iris, before calming Piper down. He took her hands in his, and began breathing techniques he learnt for her. "Pipes,, breathe with me." Finn then started breathing in a pattern that always helps Piper, and 10 minutes later, she was breathing normally again. "I'm sorry!" Piper cried, "Don't be, never be sorry." Finn said calmly, bringing Piper in for a hug whilst she cried into his chest.

Holding Molly's her safe place, so when they got back from touring the school, Piper went to her room with Molly for a while to calm down. Finn went with Iris to get some food, and when they got back, they heard shouting from Olivia's house. "Is everything good in there? She told me a little bit about it but, I don't think she told me everything." Finn explained to Iris, "She told you about it?" Iris asked, Finn nodes, "Yeah, why is she not meant to?" "No, well I don't know but Olivia, well she's hard to open up sometimes." The two are out of the car by now, and seeing the scene that's happening, "Finn, go get Millie." the blonde was halfway up the stairs he saw Piper, with Molly and a, suitcase? "Piper? What are you doing?" the brunet looked at her boyfriend shocked, "Umm, going shopping." "With your suitcase? Piper, please just tell me the truth." Finn said demanding an answer, "Nothing, nothing!" Piper exclaimed, "Okay, then give me Molly and go back inside." "No." And that's when Finn knew that Piper was trying to run away.

"You didn't try and stop her?!" Finn yelled softly at Millie, "Didn't try and stop her from what? Going shopping?" Millie said what she thought was going on, Finn scoffed at that, "She was running away and you just let her!" Finn began to yell making Molly cry, "She told me-" "It doesn't matter what she tells you, it matters that you stop her no matter what she says she's doing!" Finn stopped yelling and brought his girls to their room, "Shh, Molly, I'm sorry for shouting okay?" Finn soothed his daughter when Piper frustratedly unpacked, "What was all of that about? Why were you running away?" Finn asked his girlfriend. "It felt right in the moment after what happened today." Piper muttered, Finn sat down on the bed next to her, Molly in his arms, "Pipes, running away is never going to be 'in the right moment' okay? Piper I love you and I can't lose you." "I love you too -" Molly babbled as in saying, 'what about me.' "- and this bundle of joy." Piper said tickling her daughter.

Piper got the courage to meet Olivia's friends a couple days later, well, after Finn eventually told her about the kiss. She took it, not well but Finn explained what happened and Piper stills trusts and loves him so that's that. Since Olivia had a fight with her parents, the car she uses was crashed into by another 'accidently',so Iris is letting the three take her car when she baby sits Molly. "So where do you guys hang out?" Piper asked getting into the car, Olivia answered when she got in, "It's a lake side, I used to go there to escape but my friends followed me so now it's a hangout." Finn held his hand in the middle seat, signaling for Piper to interlock her's which she did. When they got there, the three got out of the car and Finn interlocked his hand back with his girlfriend's hand again. "This lake is pretty." Piper commented, "Maybe we should come here on our anniversary then?" Finn said raising his eyebrows. Piper's now in front of Finn, so he grabs her by the waist and kisses her deeply, "You guys are so cheesy!" Olivia laughs making the couple break apart, laughing as well. Finn and Olivia introduce Piper to all of the friends and one thing Olivia was sure of was, Piper and Sapphire, would not get along. Which she was right. It's been a couple of hours and Olivia says, "Hey, there's a place I wanna show you." She was aiming the comment at Piper, but Sapphire cuts in and says, "I know every where around -" "I was talking to Piper." Olivia said stubbornly, giving her so cold best friend a look, who then just rolled her eyes. "Wanna come?" Olivia asked Piper, "Sure." The brunet answered, giving Sapphire a cold look before kissing Finn then going off with Olivia.

Olivia and Piper walked to the lake, that the moon was shinning on the water, "Okay, I can understand why this is your escape place." Piper said to Olivia, "It's calming isn't it? And when the moon shines down it's just beautiful." Olivia then sat down, taking her shoes off and putting her feet in the lake, Piper copying her but as soon as her feet were in the lake, she took them straight out and crossed her legs, "The water's freezing!" Piper exclaimed, "I know, but it relaxes me." Olivia said with a smile that made Piper smile. Piper then looked up at the sky, looking at the stars, reminding her self of Bella, but not crying. "You okay?" Olivia asked sweetly, Piper turned to her and answered, "Yeah, sometimes at night I just go to the window and look at the stars because I feel like if I do, Bella would be some what proud of me." Piper said looking at the water, "She is proud of you." Olivia reassured her friend, "But I lost her, meaning I failed her." Piper said with no emotion, Olivia then suddenly splashed Piper with the water, "Hey!" "You need to listen. She is proud of you, and so is Finn-" "But-" Piper interrupted, "No buts! You gave birth which is one of the hardest things to do -" Piper cut Olivia of again, "At 16 which caused me to get kicked out and become homeless!" Piper exclaimed loudly making Olivia sigh, "Look, your in a good place now right? I know it was a year with out anything but, your happy now right?" Olivia asked actually looking for an answer, "I mean I guess, but don't tell Finn I'm having doubts. Please?" "I don't need to tell him that." Olivia stated, "Uh?" Piper asked confidently at, "As your boyfriend, and partner in parenting, on some level he probably all ready knows." "That-that makes sense actually. I mean with Finn, whenever I'm about to have a panic attack or I'm just really nervous, he calms me down with in 10 minutes." Piper explains, Olivia smiles. "What about you?" Piper asks, "What?" "Are you okay? You told Finn and I this is a place for you to escape." Olivia gives a look but then explains her situation, "I'm so sorry I asked, I shouldn't of." Piper said honestly after Olivia explained basically everything, "It's okay, really. I mean, not so much about my dad being in prison but, apart from that I guess it's okay." Piper gave her a look, "Do you wanna sleepover tonight? To escape for even longer?" Piper asks sweetly, "Yeah, thanks." Olivia answers with a smile, but then adds, "You know, I know we've only known each other for a couple of days but, I feel like your my new best friend to be honest." Piper smiled and answered with, "I feel like your my new best friend to. But what about-" Piper motioned her head towards where the group is, "Sapphire? She's still one of my best friends but like, she's different then she used to be. She's a lot meaner, more controlling and demanding at times. And as you know, she kisses guys who's in relationships which I don't like." Piper laughed quietly, Olivia joining in with her laugh. But then Olivia splashed Piper with water again, they got into a water fight.
