chapter 26. acting up

"I told you not to go after him!"

Molly shouts at her boyfriend when they enter her house.

"What else was I suppose to do. Sit back and let him continue harassing you?"

"He wasn't harassing me!" Molly screams. Ashley closed the door behind them, starting to speak.

"Molly, what Cole was doing was harassment." "Still, I didn't want Kayden going after him and getting hurt!" Molly screams,

"Molly I'm your boyfriend, I'm meant to protect you."

"Well can you find a different way to protect me because you beat the shit out of him." Kayden scoffed at that,

"So is this what it's about, you like Cole so you never told me about it." Kayden says rolling his eyes.

"What Kayden no your being ridiculous, I don't like Cole even as a friend. I love you and you only!" Molly screams.

"Then why didn't you tell me sooner?" Kayden asks shouting back.

"Because I didn't want you worrying! Jeez can we just forget about it?"

"No!"

Ashley and Kayden say at the same time.

"Molly your parents are gonna find out, your dad will probably find a way to get Cole suspended, and just be grate full Adam doesn't know because imagine the shit he could do!" Ashley exclaims.

"I know so just keep it a secret between us three oka-"

"Molly stop." Kayden starts,

"We love you and want to be there for you. You know what -" Kayden stopped and got his phone out of his pocket,

"Kayden what are you doing?" Molly panicked, already knowing what her boyfriend was doing.

"Your never gonna tell them so I am."

That's when Molly snatched Kayden's phone out of his hands.

"Molly give it back he's doing the right thing just listen to us!" Ashley screams and that's when the door opens. It's yet another Friday, meaning the cousins spend the night.

"Hey, everything alright? We heard Ashley screaming from outside." Ashley's older brother (by 1 yr) says.

"Yeah, e-everything's good." Molly tried explaining, giving Kayden's phone back.

"Okay, thanks for telling me Olivia. See you next week." Piper said goodbye hanging the phone up as she entered the house, Finn's hand interlocked with her's with JayJay next to Finn. Piper takes her hand away from Finn's as he locks the door,

"Can someone please tell me, and honestly, why your English teacher just called me to explain that Molly ran out of the class with Kayden and Ashley following behind?" Piper asked, kind of annoyed.

"She called?" Molly asked her mother,

"Ashley you walked out of class?!" Riley asked her daughter as she sat down.

"I had to! But thanks now you got me in trouble!" Ashley shouted at her aunt,

"Hey, don't talk to your aunt like that!" James exclaimed as he sat next to his wife.

"Molly what ever happened we need to fix this." Finn said, trying to reanssure everything.

"Nothing happened can we just drop this?!" Molly screamed.

"What have I told you about screaming? Now you tell us, or I call Olivia back and she can tell me!" Piper exclaimed frustratingly.

Molly sat on her own in the corner of one of the couches, her legs up to her chest, her arms around her knees hugging them.

A few days after, Molly did end up finally telling her parents, but only because Cole went too far two days after. Kayden did what his girlfriend pleased, and protected her a different way. Which was siding with Finn and finding a way to get Cole expelled.
