chapter 15. from the sweetest, to the worst, to the best birthday ever

Hey Pipesqueek! I just wanted to send you a happy birthday and that I miss you a lot message. I'm still forever sorry for what I did, but I love you.

Piper sighed as she read the message from her older brother, James still remembers her birthday? Which to be honest for her, is shocking. Piper doesn't reply though because she's still in Finn's arms, it's a Saturday so she doesn't have to wake up early, but it's Piper so what do you expect? It's 8:15am, so not that early. The small brunette turned in her boyfriend's arms to see him properly, 'he's so cute!' she thought to her self, she kissed his nose before hearing, "Mamaaaa! Dadaaa!" making Finn groan, "Finn,bubba, we got to get her." Piper whispered, "How about you get her and wake me up after she's out of bed?" Finn groaned pulling the covers back up over his shoulders. Piper shook her head and laughed before getting Molly. "Hey baby girl." Piper said softly getting Molly out of her crib and placing her on her hip, "Mama!" Molly said happily with a smile, "Hey!" Piper said stroking Molly's hair, "You wanna go and wake daddy up?" Piper asks with a smile, "Yeah!" Piper quietly opened the door, seeing from the corner of her eye a few birthday decorations out. "Hey!" Finn said with his morning voice, he sat up when Piper sat back down next to him, Molly crawling over to him which made the parents look at each other in surprise, "Did she just crawl?" Piper asked, "She must know it's your birthday so it's your birthday present." Finn said with a smile and laughing which Piper joint in, "Happy birthday by the way baby." Finn said kissing his girlfriend's lips softly, "Thank you buba." Piper replied.

This year for her birthday, Finn gave her a silver necklace with a heart on it, which of course Molly loves to play at some times. Iris and Millie got her some clothes, which Piper adores. And from Molly, (which is actually from Finn but he thought this would be the perfect gift for Piper), well, she's opening it now. "Okay, so before you open this one, we have to go out tonight." Finn explains, "Finn I told you, I wanna stay in tonight. The reason why Olivia and Oakley are coming over and us not going out." Piper complained, Finn rolled his eyes playfully and said, "Okay, but after you open it your gonna to want to go outside. Only for five minutes in the dark." Piper raised her eyebrows but opened the present nonetheless. Inside was the photo from her night stand, making Piper make a questionable look and asking, "Did you take this from my-" "Look inside." Finn interrupted, inside the photo on the back wrote,
'In a million years, I never thought I would meet someone like you, yet have two very beautiful children. Although in my words they're stars, because stars bring us hope and happiness from above, so the star shinning the brightness near the North, is where our daughter, is looking down at us and smiling proudly.' Piper was crying half way through as she realised what Finn did, she hugged him tight, kissed him deeply, hugged her daughter tight and then asked, "You named a star after Bella?" Finn nodded, wiping her tears away, "For you." He said, "And around midnight, on her birthday, I'll point to which star." "Thank you so, so much Finn. I love you." Finn kissed her before saying, "I love you so, so much baby." against her lips before kissing her passionately again. They broke apart when they heard a babble from next to them, of course, it was Molly.

A few hours went by and it's now 6:45pm, Molly's bedtime. Piper's putting Molly to bed when she hears the door bell, "Pipes, Olivia and Oakley are here." Finn told his girlfriend entering his daughter's room, Piper smiled sweetly. "Okay, I'll be out in a minute." Piper said softly, "Okay." Finn then added, "Hey Molly girl-" Finn said gently, kissing her cheeks softly, "I'll see you in the morning okay? I love you."  "I luvvv you dada." Molly said, burring her face into her mother's neck, slightly closing her eyes. Piper looked at Finn with a shocked face, it's the first proper sentence Molly had said, "Moll, did you-" Finn didn't know how to ask his daughter, he was just so happy!

Piper and Finn greeted Oakley and Olivia into the house, it's a few hours later and Iris says, "I totally forgot." making the group of friends that are on the couches turn to her, "What did you forget?" Piper asked, "Something at work, so I need to get it, if that's okay?" Everyone nodded their heads, Iris did work on weekends, and Millie worked in the weekdays, but Iris didn't forget anything, her and Millie had a plan which they didn't know how it's going to turn out. When Iris went, Olivia got a text, "Ooh, Sapphire wants us to hang out. What shall I say?" "Umm, we're not up to it?" Piper said against Finn, who she's cuddled next to, "She'll know we're lying, Ooh maybe say something like, wait give me your phone." Oakley said who started to type a message, "What are you-" Olivia asked but then saw what message was being typed.

S: where the hell are you? Where's Oakley, Finn and your so cold new best friend?!
O:(but actually Oakley): we don't always have to hang out you know?
S: Yes you do bitch!
"Jeez, Sapphire just called you a bitch Liv." Oakley said turning to one of his best friends, "What?" Olivia snatched her phone back and typed a messaged that she'll know she'll get in a fight for on Monday.
O: Listen here you, we don't always have to hang, especially not always with someone like you. You become more horrible each day and I'm tired of it! And for the record, your the bitch!
S: Your gonna pay the price on Monday for what you just said. See you around!
"You know, I never realised how mean she was until now." Oakley said truthfully, "Alright, instead of you four talking bad about someone how about some cake?" Millie suggested and everyone got excited. Even Piper.

At the airport, yes the airport. Iris knew exactly who she was looking for, and when she found them, she knew who they were. The people finished introducing them selfs and headed out to the car.
Near the end of an intense round of 'Just dance', it was Piper and Olivia against Finn and Oakley. They hit the last beat, head to head, a quite but loud "Yesss!" came from the girls, "Seriously, you two won again?" Oakley asked, "You know it!" Olivia said and then high giving Piper. "Fine, but one more round?" Finn offered, "You said that two rounds ago." Piper pointed out, the boys rolled their eyes playfully and that's when the sound of the door being unlocked went. "Okay, Piper, Finn, don't be mad." Millie said, "Why would we be mad?" Finn and Piper asked in unison, "Well-" Millie gestured her head towards the door when Iris walked in with, James, Leah, Hannah and Aurora. "Now I see why we'd be mad." Piper said, Finn backed up, interlocking his hand with his girlfriend's, and it was silent for a minute. "I-I thought you said you forgot something at work?" Finn asked Iris, "Well that was just so you'd let me leave to get these guys." "Pipes listen I- we-" James started speaking but Piper stepped back, afraid of her brother for some reason. When she was stepping back, she hit the table and then heard a smash. Turning around to see what she broke, a bunch of, "No, no, no, no, no!." Piper shouted. Piper for some reason forgot to put her favourite and only photo of Bella away, and that's the one she knocked over and broke. Piper gave her older brother a really dirty look before bending down and picking the frame up, glass falling out made her heart shatter, "Finn, I - I." Finn sat down next to her when Millie got something to clean the glass away, all that was left was the photo and the letter that Finn wrote the week before.

Even though she's really angry at James, her and Finn let their 'old' family in, and they've re connected with them. Piper had not let go of the photo. Finn looks at his phone for the time and says in Piper's ear, "Pipes, it's midnight." Piper turns to Finn and says, "Okay." And stands up, "Where are you going?" Iris asks, "Second part of my birthday present." Finn explains, the two interlocks hands and go outside. Finn immediately wrapped his arms around Piper's waist because it's kind of cold, "Stannnndddd, here." Finn navigated Piper by the her shoulders and stopped at the perfect spot on the grass to see the stars shine. Before explaining, Finn goes back to hugging his girlfriend from behind, he gets her hand in his and starts pointing upwards, near North. "You see, that one?" Finn asked sweetly, looking back at Piper for a second, "Yeah." Piper said softly looking at Finn, "Well, that's the one they named after Bella." Piper turned around to face Finn, "Thank you." is all she said, "For what?" Finn asked, his hands going around her waist, pulling her closer, Piper arms going around his neck. Piper rolled her eyes playfully before saying, "For everything, I don't think I could live life without you Finley Oliver. I love you way too much." Finn smiled, putting his forehead gently on her's, "I love you so so much Piper Grace, and I'm always here. And I am so proud of you." the blonde said before connecting their lips. It went from the sweetest, to the worse, to the best birthday ever.
