chapter 25. memories

When JayJay came home the next day, Molly screamed at the top of her lungs because she thought something bad was happening. But Piper quickly comforted her, then introduced her to her brother. Kayden's been telling her stories before they go asleep of when they were little, a smile spears on her face when she hears them. The cousins have come for a couple of days as well, and of course, Adam won't stop glaring at Kayden. But when Kayden told Adam of, that's when Adam finally backed off.

"What type of pizza is this again?" Molly asks Kayden who's sat next to her. "It's Hawaiian, it was your favourite." Kayden tells Molly, "No wonder I really like it if it was my favourite then." Molly replies with, making Kayden laugh. "That's the one thing I don't understand about you." Ashley and Adam say at the same time. Both taking a slice of pepperoni pizza instead. " What?" Molly asks in confusing, "Well, some people agree with Pineapple on pizza like you, and some others don't like us." Ashley explains. "Oh, okay." Molly says as she takes another bite. The family are having pizza for Friday night dinner. Molly over hears her dad asking her mum on what movie there going to watch tonight so she asks, "What's a movie?" "Longer then a show." Adam says, receiving a smack behind the head by Ashley. "Ow Ash! I was just being honest." Adam exclaims, but then Molly asks. "What's a show?" 'I really miss her.' Kayden thinks to himself, "It's like a movie but shorter. It can be up to around 50 minutes, so almost an hour. People pretended to play another person when someone records it and it goes on the TV." Ashley explains pointing to the TV. "Oh, what's your favourite movie then?" Molly asks nicely, finishing the slice of pizza. "Umm, I never really thought of it. But probably, Lilo and Stitch, I think it's the cutest Disney movie ever." Ashley replies, getting a sweet smile from Molly. "Shall we watch that one then?" Finn asks bringing the kids attention to him. They all agree and finish with dinner before putting the movie on.

Kayden as a huge smile when he feels Molly's head rest on his shoulders. He thinks for a second that she could be remembering again. When Kayden puts his hand out for Molly to hold, she looks up into his eyes and smiles before interlocking their hands together.
"That was the worse two hours of my life!" Adam exclaims loudly, "Shush! Don't wake Molly up, she's sleeping." Kayden tells Adam of, "She's asleep?" Piper's asks in a whisper, accidentally making Molly stir in Kayden's arms. "Do you want me to put her to bed?" Kayden asks politely, playing with Molly's hair gently. "Yeah, she seemed tired for the whole movie." Piper whispers, Kayden wakes Molly up and brings her to her room. "Mhm, what time is it?" Molly asks tiredly, rubbing her eyes as she sits on her bed turning to look at Kayden. "Half eleven at night, you fell asleep during the movie." Molly nods to show her understanding. "You want to go back asleep?" Kayden asks sitting next to her, Molly looks him in the eye, shaking her head. "No, not yet. But could you tell me one of the stories please?" Molly asks nicely, "Of course. But let's get ready for bed first okay?" Kayden suggests, "Okay." Molly answers.
"Wait so I actually pushed you in the lake?" Molly asks laughing, "Yeah, the lake was freezing, you already fell in and when you got out you saw me laughing so pushed me in after." Kayden finishes of laughing. "I'm sorry for that then." Molly answers, "Hey, don't be sorry for it. It happened a long time ago and it was a fun day in Florida Molls." "Molls? Who's Molls?" Kayden accidentally sighed, "I'm sorry, am I meant to know?" Molly asks innocently. Kayden brushes one of Molly's hair pieces behind her ear, earning a smile which he returns. "Molls, is short for Molly. It's your nickname, we all use." "What about another story?" Molly asks laying down on her back, "Alright Molls." Kayden replies.

It's been a couple days now and Molly still has no memory back what so ever, apart from maybe one or two or three. She doesn't know if they're dreams, imaginations or memories, but it's kind of scaring her. "Wait so, you do remember?" Ashley asks her cousin, she's sat opposite Molly leg crossed, the same position as her cousin. "As I said I don't really know Ash, I don't know." "What if I sleep over tonight and - wait did you just call me 'Ash'?" Ashley asks, trying not to get her self excited. "Yeah?" Molly questions, "That's my nickname, from you. I never told you that since you were in hospital." The girl's cousin's eyes immediately widen, "Tell me about one of these dream things your having Molly and we can put it it to the rest." Molly nods in understand meant. "I'll tell you the one about last night, because that one was a new one." "New one how?" Ashley questions. "Well, the one with Kayden the other day, is repeating, like it's telling me something. But I don't know what it's telling me." "I've told you he's your boyfriend before right? And that you've been together for 2 months now?" Ashley questions, trying something out. "Yeah, but for correction it's three months, today." "Molly?" Ashley asks as she sees Molly blank out, "Three months today!" Molly repeats,  "You just said that." Ashley speaks, "I know, I'm sorry but, it's mine an Kayden's three months anniversary! Today! I  don't think i even knew that i was dating him two days ago Ashley." molly exclaims and then runs out of the room.

"Molly, why are you running? Is everything okay?" Molly doesn't reply to her father's question and goes straight to Kayden who's sat on the couch. "You okay Molly?" Kayden asks worriedly, Molly nods and pulls him up by his hands and brings him to a corner. "Are you-" before Kayden finishes his question, Molly's lips are on his but only for a second. Kayden looked at her family all confused then back to Molly, "What was that? D-do - do you have your-" "Memory back?" Molly interprets, "Yeah? Do-do you?" Kayden asked lifting his eye brows up, Molly smiled kissed him sweetly again. When she leaned out she had the biggest smile on her face, she leans her forehead onto Kayden's, yet he's still a little confused. "Happy anniversary Kayden, I love you." Kayden immediately brings her into a massive hug, "Oh I missed you so so very much." Kayden whispered into Molly's hair, happy tears starting to flow down his cheeks. "I've been here." Molly replies in a whisper, Kayden pulls his head out but let's his hands stay around his girlfriend's waist. "You have been but it was hard. You didn't even remember what Hawaiian pizza was, or the fact that we're dating. You forgot all of it Molls." Kayden said, tears still coming down his face but now only half are happy tears. "I'm really -" "Don't apologise, you've apologised enough okay? Oh and one last thing." Kayden adds, Molly making a questionable face. "I love you too." Molly smiles big, wiping her boyfriend's tears away. After they ' re unite' , Molly goes and hugs her parents and her cousins. And now, it's for school tomorrow.

"Have you rang the school to let them know I have my memory back yet?" Molly asks her parents as her, JayJay, Ashley, Adam and Kayden eat their breakfast at the kitchen island. "Yes we have Molls, but you can surprise your friend with it okay?" Piper suggests, "Okay." Molly muffled as she got a spoon full of strawberry yogurt in her mouth.

Molly's friends were over the moon when they learned that she has a memory back, her teachers already knew so they re assigned her in her original seats again which is not next to Ashley or Kayden. Molly has most of her classes with her boyfriend and cousin, and English is the best because they're both in there with her, apart from they're not sat with each other. Molly has to sit next to prick Cole, who has apparently has audacity to put his hand on her thigh when they're writing a story. She always shakes it of though, but she has yet to tell her boyfriend about because she's terrified. But what she doesn't know is that Ashley and Andrew, are right behind them. "Okay class, today your going to write a story about how a person may of felt during an experience. This can be your own story, or you can make it up. No one will know the story apart from me. You have the whole lesson -" 'the whole lesson with that prick's hand on my thigh?' Molly panics to her self, tuning the teacher out. "- then you can leave, does that sound alright to everyone?" Ms.Olivia says. "Ms. Olivia?" Someone in the classroom questions, Molly doesn't think of who because she thinks, 'I've heard that name before. Mum and dad have told stories about a friend -"' then it clicked. But there's no more time for thinking as she starts writing.

Half way through the lesson Molly flinches, 'shit.' She says in her head, she smudged a letter because of that prick! "Can you please stop that?" Molly asks Cole, "Stop what?" Cole whispers in her head, making Moly very uncomfortable. Behind them, Andrew playfully nudges Ashely's arm, "What?" Ashley asks whispering, in an angry tone, turning to her friend. Ashley gets angry when you pull her out of her concentration, and she loves writing stories, so she hates it for say someone named Andrew, disturbs her. Andrew moves his eyes to the two in front, Ashley instantly knowing what's going on. She eyes at Kayden who's across the room when she's hears, "Cole please just stop." Molly tries to order this time. Molly feels Cole's hand going higher, "I asked you to stop so can you please just-" Molly then felt Cole's hand somewhere, so she flinched once again, slapping his hand away and standing up, pushing her chair back to the table behind her. Alarming her class mates while doing so. "Molly are you alright?" Ms.Olivia asks, "Y-yeah I - I just need some fresh air if that's okay?" Molly stutters, "Is it about your anxiety?" "No! I'm sorry no, I- I just need fresh air. Please?" she  questions again, looking around her class mates when she hears them laughing a little. "Okay, you can go but be back in-" before Ms.Olivia finished, Molly had already ran out of the class. Making Kayden go up and going after his girlfriend. Ashley leans forward to Cole, "She asked you to stop! And Molly's my best friend as well as my cousin so if we weren't in school I would definitely punch you right now!" Ashley exclaims loudly before going after her cousin.

Ashley found her cousin crying in her boyfriend's arms in a corner of the school. "Molly, it's okay now but you need to breathe." Ashley said as soon as sh e crouched down in front of the couple. Molly shook her head 'no', before berrying it father into Kayden's chest, sobbing louder. "Molly, Ashley's right you gotta breathe. In and out, just like before." 'Before?' Ashley questions in her head. "I - I -" "Don't talk, just breathe baby okay? Follow my breathing." Kayden interrupts softly. After what felt like forever, although it was just 10 minutes, Molly has her breathing back to her liking, and her sobs have become quieter and calmer. "Kayden I -" Molly starts, looking into her boyfriend's eyes, "Baby, it's okay don't be sorry. You just had a panic attack and I'm here for you. Always. And so is Ashley.." Kayden says sweetly. The girls look at each other worriedly, Molly wiping her eyes before speaking. "Umm, Ash, could you explain, Umm, why what just happened please?" Molly stuttered, Ashley nodded her head but added. "Do you want my to explain later?" Ashley asks gently. Molly gave her a pleading look and Ashley understood that Molly wanted her to explain now. "Kayden, this on be half of my cousin, do not, go and attack Cole after what I'm about to say." Kayden narrowed his eyebrows in response, "Why would I, what did he do?" Kayden asks all confused.

It was lunch time now, and Molly is sat with her cousin, Andrew, August and Taylor. Usually, she's sat next to Kayden, hands interlocked under the table but, he's no where to be seen. Molly knows he just had a lesson with August, "Hey August?" "Yeah?" August replies, "Have you seen Kayden? He's usually here by now." Molly says starting to panic, "Oh um, he said he had some stuff to do before coming here." "Did he say what stuff?" Automatically, Molly already knows where her boyfriend is. "No but I'm sure he'll be here soon." August tries to reassure his friend. Molly nods slowly. "Molls I'm sure he hasn't gone after Cole." Ashley says, making her cousin raise her eyebrows. "Why would he be going after Cole?" Taylor asks. As if on que for her answer, everyone in the cafeteria turns their heads towards the corridor when they hear someone being pushed into the lockers. "You spoke way to soon Ashley." Molly panics going to watch the scene.
