chapter 7. birthday surprises

"Hey, have you thought of any names for our little girls?" Piper asks her boyfriend, her and Finn are cuddling on Finn's bed, "Baby, you rem-" "I know what happened buba but, I feel like it would be rude if we never gave her a name you know?" After losing the baby, Piper demanded James to give her the genders of both of the babies she's carrying, and it turns out it was two twin girls. "Okay baby, that does make sense." He says kissing her softly after on the lips, "What about the names, Molly and Grace?" Finn suggest, Piper makes a face, "What?" Finn asks with a laugh, "Grace is my middle name." "I know, but how cute would it be?" Finn asks, playing with her hair, "Fair enough, I do really like those names though." Piper says honestly, "Do you have any names?" Finn asks, "I always liked the name Bella." "That's a cute name." Finn says honestly, "What about middle names?" He asks, "Oh and, since we're young, how are we going to do the last names?" He adds Piper knows what he's on about, "I was thinking Parker - Oliver?" Piper suggested, "I like that but doesn't Oliver - Parker sound, I'm not trying to say better but-" "I know what your trying to say buba." Piper says kissing him sweetly, Finn kisses back harder immediately, he feels her smile grow underneath his lips. Forgetting that she's pregnant, he goes on top of her, but a few seconds later comes of but they don't break the kiss. Ash enters the room to tell the couple something but is side tracked by walking in, "If you wanna get her pregnant again I can just leave." Ash says making Finn jump and hit his head on the wall, "Ow." Piper laughs, "Hey!" Finn exclaims, acting like he's annoyed, "What do you want Ash?" Finn asks annoyed, helping Piper sit up, "Brynn says it's time to go." "Time to go, go where?" Finn asks, Ash rises his eyebrows, "Oh, right!" Finn remembers, "Pipes, we gotta go somewhere and your coming to!" "Where?" Piper asks, "It's a surprise baby!" "You know I hate surprises Finn!" Piper exclaims as she stands up, taking a hold of Finn's hand. "I know baby but, you'll like this one!"

"You know covering a pregnant woman's eyes are dangerous right?" Finn has his hands over Piper's eyes because he's bringing her somewhere, "Oops, be careful baby. There was a step there." "Yeah thanks for the warning Finn." Piper says sarcastically, "We're almost there, annnndddd open!" "You know your meant to take your hands away right?" Piper laughs, "Oh right, now open!" Finn says taking his hands of and grabbing her hand, they're met with the loudest "SURPRISE!" Piper has ever heard, she looks at Finn, "What's this?" "It's for you, for your birthday!" Piper smiles, looking around to see who's here, her best friend, siblings, A - troupe, Finn's family, her cousins. "You did this?" She asks sweetly, turning back to Finn, "Of course baby, but not without some help." He says pointing to James, Leah, Amy and Riley. "Happy birthday baby. I love you." "Thank you buba, I love you too." They kiss passionately before the party begins.

After catching up with everyone Piper's now talking with her best friend. "How've you been?" Amy asks her best friend, "Weird." "How come?" Amy asks confused, "I mean like, I'm happy but it's weird that I'm happy, because of everything's that happened you know?" Piper answers honestly, "I can get that. Oo guess what I did the other day!" "What?" Piper asks, "I finally did it, came out to my parents." Amy exclaims quietly but happily, "Omg Aimes I'm so happy and proud for you! - Wait does?" "Not yet and please, please don't tell him." "Aimes, you know I won't." "Thanks Pipes." The two were referencing how Amy hasn't come out to Henry yet even though they're dating. The girls pinkie promised, and Piper jumped when she felt hands around her waist. "Sorry Pipes!" Finn said, going to sit behind her on the bench, gently pulling her closer so her back is against his front. "Hey baby, enjoying the party?" Finn asked rubbing her stomach gently, kissing her neck, then trailing softer kisses to her shoulder at the same time. "Yeah buba, thank you." she giggled, "What you girls talking about?" Henry asks interlocking his hand with Amy's, "Uhh." Piper and Amy said in unison, with a worried expression, "Umm -" Amy says worriedly, "Baby names! I was just telling Amy about the names Finn and I were talking about this morning." Amy's face visibly relaxes, Finn stops kissing his girlfriend's shoulder and rest his head on it instead, and smiles. "We actually need help with that." Finn says, "You do?" Amy asks, panicking again, "Yeah, how we're going to put the last names, as in Parker - Oliver, or Oliver - Parker, we can't decide?" Finn questions, Piper starts speaking but Amy interrupts her, "You know what Pipes it's fine, I'll tell him." "Tell who what?" Henry asks, "You, something important." Amy tells her boyfriend, then locking eyes with her best friend, they smile nervously at each other before Amy stands up and takes Henry by the hand, "Cake time!" Leah interrupts, putting her hands on the table, "I'll tell you later." Amy tells Henry, Piper gives her an apologetic look. "I'm hungry for cake so let's go baby." Finn says softly, kissing Piper's cheek before interlocking her hand with his and helping her up.

James and Leah told everyone that Piper's birthday cake was also a gender reveal cake, but since Finn and her lost one of the twins, and Piper demanded the gender, the siblings forgot to get a non gender reveal cake. "Finn, it looks like somethings wrong with the cake." Piper said, knowing a plan. "What do you mean baby, it looks good." Finn said kissing her cheek, "No, look, here, right about -" as Finn lowered down to what his girlfriend was showing him, he felt her shove his head in the cake. "Come here!" Finn exclaims when his head isn't in the cake anymore, Finn has cake all over him and some in his hair, he goes and kisses her all over her face so she also has cake all over her. A few seconds later they start a food fight. Half way through Piper feels a pain, "Ow!" She exclaims loudly, "Baby what is it?" Finn asked worriedly with cake all over his face, "I don't know but it's a pain from my stomach buba." Piper cried, "We'll get you the the hospital okay?" she nodded but then the pain came back, "Ow! Finn it really hurts." Piper's crying now, "Baby don't cry it'll be okay, I'll get you to the hospital."

"Well that was embarrassing." Piper said as her and Finn entered James's hand in hand, "Yeah I never knew false labour could smell." Finn said, the pains Piper were getting were false labour, meaning the baby could come any day now. "At least the nurse was nice enough to remind you about the cake on your face." Piper giggled as she sat next to Finn, leaning her head on his chest, his arms wrapping gently around her stomach, his hands landing on her bump. Finn giggled before saying, "Yeah, but hey at least your not in pain anymore baby." He said kissing her hair, "Okay if I have pay £200 again for you to fart in a hospital room then your Leah's." James says, pointing at the couple, "Oh so I'll have to pay the next 200 then?" "Yep!" Leah's carrying the baby bag, she rushed home to get it just in case. "What's in here? Rocks?" Leah complains as she puts the bag down next to her sister, sitting down. Finn and Piper giggled, "Tired Pipes?" James asked as he sees Piper closing her eyes, Finn moves so she can lay in a more comfortable position. "I love you baby, happy birthday." Was the last thing she heard before she fell asleep.

It was the middle of the night around 1:30 am and she was sleeping in her boyfriend's arms, when suddenly she felt like she was wetting the bed. She sat up really fast in shock, her eyes slowly opening, the bed is soaking wet now. "Baby, baby what's going on?' Finn asks worriedly, "I don't know." Piper says, starting to freak, "I think my water just broke." "Meaning?" Finn questions rubbing his eyes, "The babies are coming!" Her boyfriend's eyes widen, "Okay, okay we need to get going. Come on." Finn said holding his girlfriend's waist. He called for James and Leah, Leah stayed the night. "What's going on?" Leah asked, "Her water broke, the babies are coming!" Finn exclaimed excitedly but worriedly at the same time, "Shit okay, James hurry up we need to go!" Leah shouted, Finn walks holding Piper's waist gently down the stairs, "That's it baby." He supports her, but at the last step, "Ow!" The pain is back, but worse, much much worse. Piper puts her hands on the banister and goes to sit down, "Baby we don't have time for sitting down, here take my hand I'll -" "Ow, Finn it hurts - I - i can't!" Piper exclaims trying to stand up, "You can, I believe in you come on." Finn says going to support her. As he closes the front door, he realizez when he comes back, he's going to be a dad.
