chapter 22. movies and panic attacks

Molly has been in her mother's arms on the sofa for an hour, hugging her tightly. She hasn't lifted her head once, even though Finn put her favorite movie on 45 minutes ago, she's also fiddling with the bracelet on her mother's right wrist. "Molly hey, it's okay baby." Piper said gently, softly kissing her daughter's hair. Molly snuggled in more when hearing those words. "Can I see her?" Molly asked quietly, "Baby we -" Piper started but was interrupted, "I know mama, I meant for my birthday this year, can we go to her grave?" Molly asked looking into Piper's eyes. "Of course Molls. What do you think JayJay?" Piper asked her son, who has his head leant again Finn's shoulder. "Yeah." He answered with nodding his head. "Who was born first?" Molly asked, "You but only by a minute." Finn answered.

"Molls, it's time for bed." Piper said entering her daughter room, "But it's my birthday in 2 hours, can I stay awake until midnight this year? Pleaseeee?" Molly questioned. Piper sighed not knowing what to do say, "Hey, why aren't you in bed?" Finn asks coming next to his Pipes, interlocking his hand with her's. "I wanna stay up until midnight." "Molls you have school tomorrow." Piper reminded her, "But it's her birthday Pipes." Finn said, giving Piper a puppy eye look. Piper looked between her fiancé and daughter, "I mean, we could re create the night of when Molly turned 2." Finn said softly, going to hug Piper from behind. "Isn't that the year you named the star after Bella?" Molly asked, Finn nods 'yes' on Piper's shoulder, "How about we make it a tradition starting from tonight then?" Piper asks, Molly nods excitedly, "Come on then. Try not to wake your brother though." Piper smiles, waiting for her daughter before walking down the stairs.

It's 11:59pm, 1 minute to midnight. 1 minute left of Piper's birthday, and 1 more minute until Molly turns 15.  Piper's head rests on Finn's shoulder, whilst Molly lays with her head on Piper's lap, with Piper's hand going through her hair. "Hey." Finn says gently and tiredly, "What?" The girls ask in unison, "It just turned midnight. Happy birthday Molls." Molly answered with a sweet smile and a yawn, making her parents laugh a little. "Can we see the star now?" She asks, Finn nods.
Molly smiles when her parents kiss under the stars, she thinks it's gross but mostly cute. 'No, mostly gross.' She thinks to her self.

"I don't wanna die!" Molly shouts in her father's arms, "Your not, your not going to die Molls. I'm right here, I'm right here. I'm not going to let you die. I've got you." Finn reassures his daughter. She's shaking, panicking and crying. Finn knows what's up. He was going to check if she wanted to go to the movies, but all he got as a reply was a break down and repeats of 'I don't wanna die.' "Follow my breathing Molls, in... and... out. There you go, you got it, in, and out." Finn said gently, rubbing her back and holding her close. Molly's arms are around her father's waist, her head berried in his chest. After a few minutes, Finn felt his daughter calm down. "I'm sorry papa, I -" When Molly and JayJay are in a stressful, upset or innocent situation, they'll say 'mama' and 'papa' instead of 'mum' or 'dad'. "Hey, never be sorry okay?" Finn said interrupting, "But-" "Molly, I promise you that there's never a reason to be sorry okay?" Molly nodded her head gently, "Molls-" Piper started, walking into Molly's room. "Hey, what happened baby?" Piper asked her daughter, sitting next to her, taking her hands in her's. "She had a panic attack Pipes." Finn explained, Piper looked at her boyfriend worriedly, "I'm okay now mama, I promise." Molly said truthfully, "Okay baby, just know -" Piper was interrupted, "I know, I love you guys too. And JayJay." Molly giggled quietly. Piper wiped her daughter's tears before asking, "Did your papa talk to you about going to the movies?" Molly made a questionable face and answered, "No." She turned to her father, "We're thinking of going to the movies today. All of us." Finn said softly, Molly nodded, "Yeah, okay." "Ooh, Pipes I saw something that said they're re booting hotel dystopia!" Finn mentioned excitedly, "Hotel dy what?" Molly asked, "Hotel dystopia. Your mum's and I favourite movie series when we were kids!" "Oh." Molly laughed slightly, "I know we're all going but, can invite Kayden please?" Kayden and Molly are best friends, but they have feelings for each other. They hold hands, spend 24/7 with each other if they're families aren't busy, they basically act like a couple. Even both of their parents see it, but the two best friends don't deny it. "Yeah, of course Molls." Finn answered, Molly smiling sweetly afterwards.

The Oliver - Parker family, (and Kayden), walked into the movies, Finn and Piper's hand interlocked. "Molly explained a little bit of what Hotel Dystopia is but, I still don't really understand it." Kayden asks her best friend's parents, Finn's the first to speak up. "Well-" He goes all of about how the storyline goes and how his favourite movie was the fourth one. "You just explained the whole of the movies, and yet you say you weren't obsessed." JayJay comments, "I wasn't. I was obsessed with watching them with your mum." Finn replied softly, half lying, kissing Piper's hair earning 'ews' from their kids, but hearing laughter after. "Shall we get snacks?" Piper asked, "But we'll be late for the trailers, the line's huge." Finn says, a bright smile spreads across Piper's face. "What?" Finn asked, "You remembered that the trailers are before the movies and not after." Piper said kissing his cheek, whispering though so the kids won't. Finn smiled, then stopped in his tracks to turn around and pecked Piper on the lips, "I love you." He muttered against her lips, "I love you too." Piper said.

Molly groans when some one turns her light on, "Molls wake up! We need to get going!" Piper exclaims, "Whyyyyy?" Molly complains, covering herself more with her duvet. "It's so early!" She adds. Iris and Millie are coming to visit and meeting JayJay for the first time. "We have to go to the airport to get their on time." Piper said, she made a questionable face and then pulled Molly's covers of the bed. "Mammm!!" Molly exclaims loudly, "Get up! We're leaving in 15!" Piper tells her daughter.
"JayJay stop hawking the bathroom!" Molly shouted punching the bathroom door, "I'm not hawking it! I'm peeing!" JaJay shouted back. "We'll hurry up!" Molly shouts one more time.
"Finn seriously? I just got Molly out of bed, don't go back to sleep!" Piper complained to her boyfriend, Finn groaned at that, closing his eyes tight. "Buba come on, we gotta go. Millie and Iris's plane lands soon." Piper explains, "Fine, okay I'm up." Finn said tiredly. He sat up, rubbed his eyes and pulled Piper's hand so she was next to him and started kissing her. "Finn, we don't have time."'piper muttered between kisses, Finn put his forehead against her's, "I love you baby." Piper giggled, "I love you too buba."

Pulling up at the airport, looking in the back seats of the car, to see Molly awake but JayJay sleeping. "Wanna wake JayJay Molly?" Finn asks, "No because I'll get shouted at." Molly replies, Finn laughs a little before waking his son. Getting out of the car, the family walks into the airport. "Do you even remember what Millie and Iris look like?" Molly asks, "Yeah of-course, but the question is do you. You haven't seen them since you were 5." Piper says factly whilst questioning, " A little." Molly answers honestly. Finn interlocks his hand with Piper's when they walk in through the doors.
JayJay back asleep with his head on his older sister's shoulder when they immediately sit down, "JayJay, get up I'm not a pillow." Molly says annoyingly, shrugging her shoulder to try and get her brother off. All she gets in response is a groan, Molly groans back and leaves it. "JayJay, wake up they're here." Piper says calmly, waking her son. JayJay groans again rubbing is eyes. Piper and Finn greet Millie and Iris, introduce JayJay to them, let them re unite with Molly for a minute before going to the car.

"The bathroom's mine!" Molly exclaims to her brother, "No, it's mine I need to pee more!" JayJay exclaims back. The two need the toilet, but there's only one bathroom, they're not allowed to use the one in their parents room. "Molly, JayJay calm down, one of you can sneak to the ensuite." Piper whispers as she opens the door, JayJay and Molly running in. Finn's helping with the bags, "10 years seriously?" Finn asks, the three are talking about the last time they saw each other, "what's been 10 years?" Piper asked confused, looking between the three helping pull out the last bag from the boot. "Since we last saw you two." Iris answers, "Seriously that long?" Piper asks in shock. "Yeah, a whole decade is crazy." Millie speaks up, "How are you two anyways and does Molly know?" Millie asks raising her eyebrows. Iris hits her arm, "Iris it's fine, and yeah they know. James told them on a walk one day." Piper said, half smiled. They all sat on the couch, JayJay comes down look pretty shy and nervous, "Hey, JayJay it's okay -" Finn reassured his son, "These are your -" Finn paused for a moment to think, "Aunts - grandmas? I don't wanna say your old which your not but, you are Pipes and i's foster mum's, I just don't know how to put it. If that makes sense." Finn says politely, "What about, Auntie Millie and Auntie Iris?"
