Today is the day. I can't wait to be Christian's wife and FINALLY share the same last name as my daughter, I've been waiting for this day since she was born and when Christian proposed. It's definitely a hot one today here in Milwaukee, but everything is going to be perfect.

All the girls were at our house ready to get ready for the day and Christian went with his groomsmen out golfing, like usual. "I can't believe my little girl is getting married. Ugh I'm going to be crying all day." My mom said and I couldn't help but laugh at her.

"Mom, nothing is going to change. I'm still your little girl." I said. "I know I know, there's just something about watching your only daughter get ready on her wedding day that makes a mom so emotional." She said and I rolled my eyes and laughed.

I hope that everything was going perfect at our venue with setting up. I planned this all in like seven months so it better come together nicely. Honestly, I didn't know what I was thinking about having a wedding in the middle of a baseball season since Christian wasn't there to help me pick out most of the stuff, but he trusted me every step of the way, so today better be perfect otherwise I'm going to be really upset.

"So have you given any thought to do wedding planning as a job?" My mom asked me as I was now getting my makeup done. "I mean I have, but I know how much goes into starting a business and now with going to be having two kids and Christian gone most of the year, I don't know how realistically I can do it." I said to her.

"I mean, if you're willing I can definitely help you out with all of that. I know how much you love planning things. I mean I took one look at the reception area and knew that tonight is already going to be amazing." She said.

"You should definitely look into it because you will be amazing and have no trouble making money because once people see one wedding, they're going to come to you for more. You don't even have to just do weddings, you can do birthday parties and other events. You could probably even do some for the Brewers if Christian put in a good word for you." Ashley said. I had to really think about it because it's going to be a huge decision and it's something that Christian and I need to talk about first.

"Yeah, a lot of thinking is going to go into this, it is definitely something that I want to do, but Christian also needs to be a part of the decision." I said. The conversation dropped there and finally everything was coming together for the ceremony. "Are you ready?" My dad asked as he took my arm in his before we were about to walk down the aisle. "More than ready dad." I said and he smiled and we started walking and then I saw Christian at the end of the aisle. I couldn't help but shed a couple of tears and I saw him wipe away some too.

"You look absolutely stunning." He said to me as I reached the altar. I couldn't help but smile and try not to kiss him, that is the hardest part because I haven't seen him for the night and I'm used to seeing him every night. We went throughout the ceremony and it was finally time to say our vows which we have chosen to write ourselves.

"My dearest Christian, I have been waiting for this day ever since you proposed. I know that our lives can get crazy at times when you're out on the road, but I promise to always love you and cherish the love that we have. I promise to be the best mom that I can to our children and I will always vow to protect them at any costs. I vow to be your best friend before your wife and make sure that you always stay sane for the season. I promise to always be there for you, even when we are old and smelly and senile. Thank you for being the best partner and dad in the world. I can't wait to become your wife, I love you so much." No one had a dry eye in the house.

"Honestly not sure how I can top that. But here it goes. Lilly, I love you more than words itself. I can't thank you enough for giving me the best title of them all, dad. I can't thank you enough for all you do for me and our growing family. I promise to never take what you do for granted and I promise to love you until the end of time. I promise to be there when you need me, no matter how far away I am or how busy I am. I vow to never leave you during sickness and health. I vow to love you for as long as I live. I love you so much Lilly and I can't wait to make you my wife." Ugh swoon.

The ceremony went on and finally it was time for me to become Mrs. Yelich. "I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss your bride." I smiled and Christian pulled me closer and kissed me. "I love you Mrs. Yelich." He said as we were walking down the aisle. "I love you too Mr. Yelich."
