Today was the first game of the season and I couldn't wait to have all the wives meet Jaelynn for the first time and have Tori go to her first game this year. Spring Training was a rough time for Christian and I.

He wanted to be home so badly with all of us that it really took a toll on our relationship. We fought a lot and we even talked about going to counseling but I told him that wasn't necessary because if we really loved each other that we would work through everything and that this is just part of our life, him travelling and being gone for long periods of time.

We got ready in our Brewer's gear and headed off to the stadium. Having a baby this time around with a toddler is rough, but like I have said in the past, I can't be more thankful for my mom and all the help that she has given me and Christian during this difficult time. She knows everything that goes on in my life and she knows about the troubles that Christian and I are having.

She supports me through everything even when she's dealing with her own divorce. Once we got to the stadium, we went up to the suite we had for games and all the wives were already there and as soon as we walked in the room all of them were all over Jaelynn and taking turns holding her and asking me all sorts of questions about labor and how it's been.

"Honestly it's been rough this time around. Having Tori and then having Christian leave a couple weeks after she was born was really hard on me and the baby and even Christian as well. I'm so thankful for my mom though, I can't say it enough." I said answering everyone's question in one shot. We took our seats to watch the game and I was so happy to be doing something out of the house since I had Jaelynn.

It feels normal to be back at the ballpark and sitting watching what Christian loves doing. It was the bottom of the 6th and Christian was up to bat and hit a ball to center and while running the bases he just collapsed. The whole stadium gasped and I stood up so quickly that I almost dropped Jaelynn in the process. I didn't see anything twist while he was running so this was super weird that he just dropped to the ground.

The medical staff was quick to rush out to him and help him up. It looked like he was awake and alert but who knows what actually happened. My mom, the girls and I were taken down to where he was getting examined. "Hey there babe, what happened out there? Are you okay?" I asked as I walked over to him and gave him a kiss. "Yeah I'm good, I don't know what happened but I am in some pain." He said as he sat up.

"Where does it hurt?" The trainer asked. "My knee." He said, that is never a good sign when your knee hurts and you just collapse. I honestly think he tore his ACL, you can tear it by just walking so it wouldn't surprise me if that happened. The trainer started touching his knee and moving it around.

"Yeah, my conclusion is that you tore your ACL while you were running the bases and that made you fall and pass out for a short minute. You have to go get an MRI to be sure." The trainer said and Christian just hung his head. This means surgery and out for the rest of the season. Not something that either of us had planned for.

"Well let's go get that MRI." I said and gathered all of our stuff to head to the hospital. Christian went through the MRI and initial stuff that they needed to do. "Well, I know you guys don't want to hear this, but it is a torn ACL and it will require surgery. You will we out for the rest of this season. I'm sorry." The doctor said and I looked over at Christian and he was heartbroken, I could see it all over his face. Here's to another obstacle in this crazy thing we call life.
