Well the All-Star game didn't go as we had hoped. The NL lost to the AL 4-3. But Christian didn't care really about that, he really cared about the season and how the Brewer's were doing. Right now, we're packing up our hotel room and about to make the drive 45 minutes to Christian's home in Thousand Oaks.

"Are you ready to go see my mom and brothers?" Christian asked as we were now in the car. "Of course, she hasn't seen Tori since she was born so of course, she needs to see her granddaughter." I said and he smiled. It definitely took more than 45 minutes with LA traffic, I'm sorry but whoever lives in LA full-time must be crazy because I could never deal with this traffic all day everyday.

"And we're finally home." Christian said as he pulled into the driveway and honestly this house is gorgeous. "You really live here? I thought our house in Milwaukee was great but this looks amazing." I said getting out of the car. "Yep, soon enough you and Tori get to live here with me in off season and get to enjoy everything that I do here." He said as he got our bags out of the trunk while I got Tori out of the back seat.

"Mom, we're home!" Christian said as we walked through the door and then we heard all the footsteps running throughout the house to greet us at the door. First it was his mother who immediately took Tori out of her car seat and I couldn't help but laugh. Christian and his brothers took our bags upstairs to our room and I went and found Alecia with Tori in the living room.

"Oh hi there darling. I'm so sorry I just took her and ran away, I just couldn't wait to see her face again." She said and I couldn't help but laugh as I sat down next to her. "Oh don't worry, my mom does that when she sees her too, I'm used to it." I said. "Oh well that's good. Listen, I know you and I haven't spent much time together while you've been with Christian, how about we go and get our nails done and get some food?" She asked and I smiled. "I would really love that." I said and she smiled and stood up.

"I'm going to take Tori to Christian and then we can go." She said and I smiled and waited for her to come back. I feel like they have something up their sleeve, but that's just me and my motherly instincts. Alecia came back down and we left to go get our nails done. Honestly, throughout everything Alecia has been very understanding and she never once made me feel like I don't belong and she makes me feel like I'm one of her children. I secretly think that she's always wanted a daughter with the way that she treats me and Tori.

I kid you not, we get stuff from her for Tori at least three times a month, whether it be clothes, toys, stuff for her room or food, she always sends us stuff out in Milwaukee. "Are you guys coming back to Thousand Oaks for the offseason this year?" She asked as we were now getting pedicures done. "Yes we are, I'm excited to finally not live in Milwaukee. Sometimes it gets too cold there and I'm like I need the sunshine." I said and she laughed.

"Good then we can start planning out Tori's room for her so it will be all ready for her when you two arrive home for the offseason. Hopefully it won't be till after the World Series." She said. "I would love to plan out her room, Christian basically did at our home in Milwaukee, I want to do it this time." I said. "Well Christian is quite the planner and I'm glad that he found someone like you." She said.

"Well thank you, that means a lot to me. He honestly has become my everything. When I found out I was pregnant with Tori, I knew I had to tell him, I just didn't know how he would react. He's such a great dad." I said. "Do you see yourself spending the rest of your life with him?" She asked, typical mom questions. "Honestly, yeah I really do. He's an amazing dad and I would give anything to have him father my other children. I don't want anyone else and I would hope that he feels the same." I said and she smiled, see I knew they had something up their sleeve when she didn't say anything.

But, I just let it go and we continued on with our day together. Once we got home, all the lights were on inside the house and when we opened the front door, I looked down and there were rose petals on the floor. I looked back at Alecia and she was smiling and motioning me to go throughout the house and I followed them. I followed them through the living room and kitchen and it eventually led me outside to the pool area and down to dock where Christian was standing.

He turned around when he heard me coming and smiled at me and gave me a kiss when I got to where he was standing. "What's all this?" I asked looking around at all the rose petals and candles everywhere. "And where is our daughter?" I finally realized that he didn't have her.

"This is all for you and she's with my brothers and now my mom. But you, you're an amazing mother and I know that I don't say it enough but thank you for all you do for the two of us. We both love you tremendously and honestly I don't know what either of us would do without you in our lives. I knew from the moment you told me you were pregnant with Tori, I knew you were going to be mine for the rest of my life. I love you forever and I was wondering if you would make me the happiest man on the planet and become my wife." He said getting down on one knee.

Yes of course, I was crying. I shook my head yes and he smiled wide and put the ring on my finger and then kissed me. We heard cheers coming from the patio and we looked up and both of his brothers, his mom and Tori were all there so happy for us. I turned back to him and smiled. "I love you so much Christian. Thank you for making me happy." He smiled and kissed me again. "I love you too soon to be Mrs. Yelich."
