Chapter 5~Hurt

Riley decided to see if Thor needed any help and when she reached the stairs she found thor in one of the corners he was conscious but weak. "Thor hey, it's ok, look where is-" Riley began but then she heard someone behind her.

She turned seeing loki, she took her time to take him in, he did not look different. He had alien creatures around him, with long claws, they belted towards her and she ran up the stairs "STOP" shreiked Loki running after, Riley couldn't tell if he was talking to the aliens or her, she turned to see where they were then it happened one had been just behind her and with one big slash of its long claws his had sipped the flesh of Riley fore head.The fire around her, died away. She stumbled backwards hands clasped over the wound, though it wouldn't help, blood trickled over her hands.

She saw loki, shooing the creatures off, she took steps backwards and then she hit glass, she pressed her body against it. "Riley, are you ok, look let me help, I didn't mean them too" loki began edging closer. "GET AWAY FROM ME" she shouted and he stopped. She couldn't stand up anymore she felt weak, she sat back pressed to the window, "Your going, to die let me help you" loki said. Loki, She had forgotten he was here. OK, she thought, just gotta hope caps still there. And with that she stood up and edge closer to loki. Then she thrustered herself back hard.

There was a smash and she fell, she had broken the window just as planned, she was in the air shee had heard loki shreik "Noo". She couldn't bear to look down what if no one was there. She shut her eyes tight.

"Something's flying down from the building fast" cap said into his communication earpiece. "I'll catch it" bucky said. "Its- Riley, I think" Thor groaned into his earpiece. "What! " Tony said. "Damn" natasha moaned. Bucky had got there in the nick of time and had caught Riley. Her eyes remained closed. "Guys, aliens are all dead right" Bucky said and the others said yeah. "It is Riley and she's hurt, bad".

Thor stood up, though he felt like he shouldn't and jumped down the space were Riley had jumped he ran outside. "Lokis gone" he said. Without hesatation he took Riley from Buckys arms and ran back into The Avengers tower.

There was a hospital area and a nurse was already there. She looked at Riley and straight away banished Thor from the room and set to work. Thor walked outside to the others. "She's in safe hands, I guess we need to start tyding this up" he said. "How, did this happen? " Tony said angriy and Nat imitted the truth.

"Where's the spider kid" Sam said. And everyone looked around. "Kid, you there" Tony said directly to Peter through his earpiece, no response came only a buffering noize.
