Chapter 19~Cookie?

Peter picked up Riley, after using so much energy shed fallen asleep on the floor. He placed her on her bed and tucked her in he closed the door. He walked out and went over to the sofa were the others were at. "She's asleep" he said and sat down. "This is all my fault" loki said and sighed. They looked at him, shocked. "Um loki sir, its my fault I'm pretty sure I did something real bad" peter said a bit unsure on how to talk to loki as he knew him as a villain. "Well if both of you upset her imagine what she must of been thinking, I drove her off the tipping point we had a argument and she accidentally brought up her dad" tony said and sighed. Everyone sat in silence.

Riley awoke. She rubbed her face, cleaning away the last traced of tears. She went to the bathroom and fixed herself up she checked her watch, 2 am. She went out her room and sat on the couch. She sighed. She had caused so much trouble, she was a nuicance. She heard a clutter, she spun around and pointed her hands into the direction the sound came from a fireball armed in it. She saw it was Peter and her hand istinguished. "Sorry I was getting a snack, Mr stark let me stay here for the night" Peter said. There was a silence. "Cookie" he said showing her the bag. She smiled a bit and nodded. Peter sat next to her on the sofa and they shared the cookies.

"Riley, look I'm sorry, I-I shouldnt have just kissed you like that, it was wrong, I dont know what came over me" Peter said bowing his head. Riley sighed and leaned her head back against the sofa looking at the ceiling. "No I'm sorry, I had just been so frustrated with everything I just thought if I blocked everything out it would get better"she said. "Freinds" Peter said. Riley looked at him smiled and said "Sure parker". Peter felt a bubbly feeling rise in him, he slowly took rileys hand in his and just looked at her. "Your realy pretty, you know" he said out of knowhere. "Are you getting a sugar rush, how many cookies did you raid out the frige" she said and giggled. She looked back at Peter, his face showed it all he was being sirius.

"I'm realy not lying, you are realy pretty and well, I wanted to tell you when you came back from asgard, you looked stunning, also I never got to tell you I'm sorry, that I got you landed on a random planet" he said. Riley smiled and rubbed her thumb across his cheek. "It was sort of cool there, I met Carol dangers, she's a freind of nick fury" she said and smiled. "Riley, with your permission now, can I kiss you" he said. Riley was shocked. "Sure" she blurted. Then they kissed.
