Chapter 34~Protect

Riley smiled up at her many guests. The man left the room. She pulled of the mask. Maria was in full tears. And so were many of the others. Nat was also there at this point.

A doctor came in explaining everything. "Can you discharge her now" tony said. The doctor was about to argue the realised he was talking to Tony stark. He nodded.

Later that Morning. Riley was being pushed by Thor in a wheelchair. Nick and Maria were still there. They all sat on Tony's cream sofa and then she explained all about the hydra base eventhought all of them had protested that she should get some rest. She td them all about how they had seen the cameras of both her and peter and because of her stupidity they knew she was like freinds with them. Everybody told her it was OK and a mistake, but she knew it wasnt ok and was a huge mistake.

2pm came by. Nick and Maria had missed so much work out they had to leave. Riley had just been sitting on the couch securely in the corner. She was looking at her one arm in a sling. And the bandaged wrist of the other hand. She heard a little bang. And then small bit fast footsteps. She looked up to see loki, he went over to her, Tony and the others watching, there trust had grown towards him but not fully. He looked at her and little tears sparkled in his eyes. "Thor told me, are you ok" he said, eventhought she was clearly fine. "Yeah I'm fine realy" she said with a short sweet smile.

Rilwy was helped to her room and bed that night. She was left alone in the room, she took the cream for her seared face and applied it. It burnt for a secound but then it soothed her, feeling better. She laid it slowly down on the desk. And then stood up. Her legs were fine, no need for the hospital to say she had to be in a wheelchair for a week. Then when her feet hit the ground she wobbled and fell quietly. She sighed. Got slowly back to the bed. She guessed her legs were a bit weaker then she thought.

Peter was in his room. Pacing around. Why had this have to happen, everything had been so perfect then they came. The scene kept on repeating in his head, more horrific each time he saw it. He should of protected her, but in the end, she was the one who got him out of harms way. It should of been him doing this. Now Riley was probaly alone, her face sore, her limbs aching from being shot. He couldn't just leave her there alone a hurt. Even though Tony had sent him home he had to go see her properly. He put on his suit and jumped out his window heading to stark tower, through the cold bitter night.
