Chapter 23~Declared Dead

Vulture dead. Peter all healed up with new tech. Riley, she was not a subject people liked to talk about.

A week at had been, she'd shut her eyes but they hadn't opened. The rest of the Avengers came back, horrified by the news. She was alive but bearly. Peter though bearly left her side, he blamed himself if he had noticed she was hurt more then him. He would off been the one waiting for thor.

It was early in the morning about 1am, Peter had fallen asleep. The machine Riley was hooked up to started beeping loudly alot he woke up and the nurse rushed in. "Her heart rates going down" she shouted. But before they could do anything a flatline appeared on the screen, it went on for a minute. The nurse checked her watch. "Time of death 1:17" she said. No, no, no peter shook his head. She couldn't be dead. Riley was alive, right. Tony, thor, Steve, Nat and Loki had been awoken they came in the room looked at the screen. Tears fell from all there eyes.

Riley sat bolt upright. The room she was in was dark. No it wasn't a room it was a bag with a zipper, she undid it. She looked around, she was in some sort of funeral place. She tried to stand up but fell to the ground with a clatter. A man walked in "Holy shit, how the hell are you alive" he said. "I was dead" she asked. He nodded "I'm not sure" she said. She looked pale and felt drained and hungry. The man helped her sit down, she ate the sandwich and drink he gave her. "Wow, this is amazing" he said. She nodded. "Thanks for this" she said pointing out the sandwiches. "Do you know how long I was declared like dead" she said.

"a week, I'm surprised your alive after so long without water" he said. "Well, I'm not the normal type of person, I need to get going now" she said. He nodded and shook her hand he was so amazed to be in the presence of anything like this.

Riley pushed open the Avengers tower door, she walked in slowly, she was finding it hard to walk at all. She went up the elevator and into the Tower. "Funerals tommorow.. "she heard the sound of her mom's voice, it was sad. "Ok, Parker's missing school for it" said Tony.

Riley limped in a way into the room she felt like she might faint after so much energy but the look on the others faces they looked like they would faint when they saw her. "Riley" said Thor unsure. This could be some sort of holigram people thought or someone who looked exactly like her. "Yeah, it-S me" she said.

Her mother went over first sort of nudged her on the shoulder to make sure she was real then hugged her "How the hell are you alive" she said.
