Chapter 55~Saying Goodbye

They got back quickly, bringing the tape with them and told and showed the others. "Maybe there's a way to put the pieces back in the stones" tony said. Riley nodded "But it's not like we have the 6 stones on us" she said. All was quiet, Peter was tapping his foot repeatedly then loki sighed, they looked at him and with a flick of wrist his staff and the tesseract were in her hands. "There's infinity stones in both of these" he said. "Youve had 2 on you this whole time" Nat said and he nodded. "I know a guy, STRANGE" Thor shouts. They got confused then a yellow circle started to appear it became bigger then a man walked through. "Um Thor, what do you want" he said. The others were amazed but thor just said "My freind here Riley has a piece of every infinity stone in her, including yours, were going to try and get it out and put it back in the stones" he said and then strange nodded.

Riley stood, she watched Dr strange make apear a green stone and then saw loki take a blue-y one out the tesseract and a yellow one out. In secounds she fell a pull towards them. Her eyes were Blinded, she needed those stones. In secounds she had dropped her crutches, flung herself at the stones and took all three in her hands, it pained her, she screamed. But wouldn't let them go, "Riley what are you doing" Tony shouted. "I-need them" she shouted. "She's not going to be able to hold them much longer, she'll die" strange shouted. But she wouldn't let them go then how Blinded she was disappeared she didn't want them just felt pain, "I'm sorry-I don't know why I did that, S-something made me" she said and then blacked out.

She woke up, everyone was around her in the hospital room, even strange stood there. "I think it's only minutes" she said and walked away. Everyone was shedding tears "Look, I'm sorry, something controlled me" she said. "R-riley your going to die" Nat finnaly said. She froze "What" she said. "The stones, you held them too long, your baciacly clinging onto life, only a few minutes" she said. Riley shook her head "No, no, this isn't goodbye" she said. They all took turns to say goodbye and hug her. Then Peter came and she whispered in his ear "I'm-going to live". He nodded, even though he knew it wasn't true. She smiled at loki and hugged him alot. Then she fell motionless in his arms, she died.

The room was draped in black, thor, clint, Tony and Loki carried her coffin to the front. A beautiful picture of her was at the front, her face beaming. Many had come to say goodbye to her, even Jess from the prison was aloud out to pay her respects. The service ended and they buried the coffin, saying goodbye.
